My opinion is, if a movie/anime or whatever is dubbed it's ruined.

Ghost in the Shell is not the best movie to judge your opinions of English voice actors on. The dialogue was dry, forced, and gratuitous.

ive seen the film before subbed, and i loved it. watched it again dubbed and it annoyed me so much everytime they talked. the american acting is jst so crap and out of place. and seeing as the voices arent even similar to the original japanese actors its annoying.

Oh my god, not again. I have seen guite many dubbed animes and all of those sucked... I&#39;m also one of those who wants to see the animes with the original language (so in this case it would be japan).

i saw a fandub from another group of people a long time ago. it was 5 minutes of the first ep, but alteast they did it fairly good. this one sucks. it&#39;s not even worth laughing about:S.

I agree EXTREMELY. i cringe at the thought of Fan Dubs. i mean, waiting thru and suffering thru PROFESSIONAL voice actors is bad enuf... i&#39;ll give a firm GET LOST to AMATEURS any day.

The Naruto dub was pretty bad, but I mean they were just fans. Gotta give them props for trying. And also for making the single funniest thing in the world....

there are some dubs that have been quite good - Evangelion in my opinion did an excellent job of dubbing - not only grammar and time/motion management of speaking wise but also just the voice-acting in general

there are a lot of factors in dubbing that have a tendency of going wrong - but you also need to consider this.

everything we are used to we tend to not want to change - while yes some dubbing is just horribly bad - passing judgements on others is not the greatest thing to do

in general i would have to agree taht dubbing can be a bit of a pain - but when you are accustomed to looking at the bottom of thep icture it can be interesting to see what things in the background you might miss - unless you are mad obsessed and watch naruto 30 times a day and frame by frame you aren&#39;t going to catch absolutely everything (im not saying thats a bad thing im just saying most people dont)

subbed is only the SECOND best way to watch anime...

the best way is to LEARN JAPANESE.

Unlike most of the people, I didnt delete the dubbed Naruto after I had watched the first minutes of it... I just shut it and kept it in case I need good laughs one day.

It really sucked. I know they are just fans trying their best but really, if this is the best they can do, why to they torment their fellow fans with horrible dubs?
