ok at first minute this was called naruto [Dubbed], then changed to naruto [FanDubbed], and now its finally back to naruto [Dubbed], well for the last time change it back to FANDUB cuz thas what this is..a fan dub, and a very exaggerated cliche one at that...its so stereotypically bad that it deserves to have been realized in the 80s or something..why do these white kids always come up with smart ideas like dubbing foreign delights.

i just finished watching GITS:SAC last night (subbed), then i watched GITS the movie straight after (dubbed) and i have to say american dubbing ruins japanese anime so much i had to turn it off before id even finished watching it. the shit voices jst got to me.

Wow, that sucked big time. Really did.

Well, actully, I didn't find Sakura and Ino that vexing. The voice they got for Sakura actually fit the "I'm a cute girl!" act, and Ino... well, just sounded normal.

But whats with the 3rd Hokage? "There wasss a Fox, this Fox had Nine Tailsss, each ssswing of itsss tail...", and so on.

Iruka sucked, too. Why does he keep pronunciating "Narruto"? Sasuke's one line sounded all wrong, too....

But worse of all was Naruto. It was terrible. Simply, simply terrible. In Japanese, he sounds like a boy... an hyperactive, terribly loud boy.
Here, he sounds like an hyperactive whiny girl. I know its traditional to use girls to voice young boys, but that doesn't mean they have to sound girly.

If Naruto is ever licensed and therefore dubbed, I hope it wont sound this bad.

WOW... I just watched that. Thats the worst piece of trash ever. I fire anyone who was helping make that fecal milkshake. Naruto sounded like the biggest fag. The voices are all wrong. You cant dub Naruto...

That definitely was one of the worst dubs I&#39;ve ever heard, although I admire people willing to put that much time into a great series.

I disagree with some of you here who think that english dubbing anime is always a bad idea. Sometimes I prefer not to read the subtitles if the dub is good enough. Also, the majority of my friends (not as much into anime as I) prefer the dubs. I think the dubs help open up a lot more people to anime.

Ghost in the Shell is not the best movie to judge your opinions of English voice actors on. The dialogue was dry, forced, and gratuitous.

Of course, if you were to go by sheer volume of dubs, over 75% of them could probably be lumped in this category.

agreed, unless they have good voices for the chars then i will watch for example berserk had good voice actors and its the oly anime ive seen in english that is good.
