there are no cars cause kishimoto didnt want any in the show. the same goes for guns airplanes and other stuff that we dont really need.
im wondering why this could be an english speaking forum.....

they can all run faster then cars and they don't need to follow roads. if i could save money on gas myself i would.

Wheeewh... Why don't they have guns, airplanes, tanks and computers? The reason number one is that those things don't fit into a ninja anime. And the second reason is that those things haven't been invented yet.

Actualy, Im from Finland and I can still understand Sweden. So, you would have to say "Most of the people here dont understand what you are saying." ...
... I know I was being anoying, but I had to say that.
And back to the thread, yes, why dont they have cars? I have been thinking the same thing while trying to perform Chidori on my littlebrother. Okay, okay, seriously, this must be one of the "stupidest thread" award winners. Naruto and our world arent the same. If you havent noticed they have even tellys and other modern stuff, but wont still use guns. Thats how Kishimoto wanted it. Respect it.
But there are cars, if you watch The Red Clover special, and yes its terrible, the small girl loads all of her things into a truck and she is standing next to it when Konahamaru gives her the clover but its just that the ninjas dont use them because that would be useless.

De borde ha ett forum som gotwoot fast här i sverige likaså en Anime-shop med massa naruto och kenshin releaterat material.
why dont they have cars because they have boats with motars on em and if u look at the timeline in world history they had cars before they had boats with engines. and the boat in naruto is prolly a gas motar cus its sooo small so why dont ehy have cars?
