Chidori is a great assasination technique. Case closed. So what if it's loud. The target won't b able to stop it even if he can hear it, so it doesn't really matter. Who knows, maybe he'll just think that the birds are having their mating season.

it could be that they didn't have the name for Chidori yet. So the sound effects wouldn't come into play until Kishimoto created them later in the manga. (And sound doesn't matter that much in the manga)
I suppose an assassination jutsu doesn't have to be silent...just as long as your target is deaf...and blind.
Which brings me to my next point. Kakashi goes on missions to assasinate deaf and blind people. (In my opinion thats just cruel)

Ino's technique is a spying technique...... it can't possibly be used for assassination because whatever happens to the host body happens to the jutsu user also.

You are wrong. When Kakashi fought against Zabuza. His technique was not the Chidori. It was in fact, Raikiri. Those are two different techniques.

kunai and shurikens are not used to kill, simply to distract.
First of all, these weapons can be used to distract. Distraction is not their sole purpose. They are, like all weapons, used to kill.
umm... Raikiri is nickname for Chidori, they are saying that in ep 66-67 NarutoOtaku
well.. it has the sounds of a 1000 birds because (duh) you don't have a cleu where it's coming from, second of all, if you're in a forest or whatever the sounds got be coming from anywhere, and there might be a 1000 birds in a forest...
lol i dont get why chidori didnt go though haku into zabuza since weakly sausuke's chidori went though gaarss absolute defense and hit gaara unless hakus body is stronger lol
lol about gaara screaming its just that gaara is seriously fuked up mentally the gaara screaming was kid gaara im thinking something happen to him when he was a child and because of that he has 2 personalities(a conclusion i think many ppl have come to)
But chidori was kind of slow to charge, if gaara didn't be in that shell he probably would have done something to prevent him from use it. But then he maybe would have died as well, because sasuke's chidori wasen't a clear hit.

Nope, he wouldn't be disqualified, they clearly said that the match goes on until someone dies, someone gives up, or if the ref ends it.
