    Has anyone seen this anime? I just watched like 4 eps subbed from a chinese version of it =/ anyone know where I can get subs preferably one subbed from a jap ep?

    Well im from the Netherlands and the Dutch (Netherlands dub not German dub) version of Shin Chan is hilarious i can tell you .. i always watch it!

    Dunno about other dubs though ...

    hmm... i dunno about the anime except for HK bootlegs but you can get the manga which is also hilarious i love both personaly crayon shin chan is the funniest thing i ever seen staring a 5-year old,...."its an elephant!"

    ahhg the new movie for this anime series has just been subbed, makes me want to see the series more does anyone have any info at all on subs of it?

    Due to the release and success it has on Adult Swim here in North America, the English dubbed version can be downloaded now (up to like episode 24? or so). Still hilarious.

    Now if someone would dub/sub all 569+ episodes.

    I have the Chinese mandarin dubs, and I thought they were done pretty well. It's my wife's favourite anime. :P

    Okay I gotta ask.

    I've been watching this on AS and I'm wondering, is the translation of this even remotely accurate?

    I'm curious. It seems to have alot of americanized references in it and I'm wondering if they're just making up words of if its close and they're just replacing the jokes that people outside Japan wouldn't get.

    The original Japanese version has a lot of word puns and jokes in it, and luckily they were still pretty much intact in the Chinese version. I have no idea how they would americanise some of the jokes though, as they are sometimes related to Japanese culture and habits.
