Question about the Naruto Series.

Anyone know? I'm looking for exact dates, if not then Month and Year will do.

The anime was released 3rd of October, 2002 06.30 PM TV Tokyo... And correct me if i'm wrong but the manga was made like 1999.

oh really? when i started watching it, some time in mid/early june, it was around ep 20/21 (i believe 22 was the first ep i actually had to wait for).

but if it was started in october, that means it should've been on ep 32 (8 months x 4 eps/month)

did they have delays or somehting?

Maybe they didn't start fansubbing right away, it probably took some months to check how popular naruto was..

Yep, Naruto manga began at 1999.

The japanese manga was definitely started sometime in 1999. Not sure about month though.

hmm i thought the manga was released 2000. anybody got exact date on the manga release?

If you look at some of the first books translated the date is there on the first couple of pages.

But yeah, 1999 for the Manga. When I talked to my friends in Japan about it, it was old news to them, some didn&#39;t even remember it too well.

no that day seems correct .... and i saw it the day it was released in japan because i timed the first episode. my group did the first few naruto eps but could not keep up with anbu-aone so we stopped. as it not being popular at the start, this anime was well anticipated. many group started off subbing it, everyone was looking forward to it since the manga was/is so awesome. and it was subbed right away, a day to 3 days after the first release in japan i guess.
