SASUKE IS THE SH*T&#33; When he used Chidori, I almost did wet my pants (lol @ Kakashi). This was the best episode to date, and to Sasuke fans, definitely stacks up to (and destroys) episode 30 where Sasuke fought Orochimaru, using Dragon Fire. When I was watching what was going to happen next episode, and found out we have to wait 2 weeks, I punched a small hole in the wall adjacent to my computer desk&#33; No joke, there is now a hole in my wall&#33; It had better be a good one, us having to wait 2 weeks and all&#33; I don&#39;t read ahead in the mangas, but I have a funny feeling that Naruto is going to be summoning Gamabunta soon&#33;

Looved the ep actually.. Man finaly we got to see alittle what the hell gaara is, he&#39;s twisted that boy hehehe.. And we got to see that Gaara actually has more than the 2 jutsus seen so far.. well 3 including the eye too..

DB_Hunter I very much doubt that Shukaku is controlling alot more than just the sand shiled. Im pretty sure Gaara managed the Suna bunshin and all the otherstuff aswell except the shiled..

And Gaara seemed to take it alittle more easy this time when Sasuke started to use fast Lee taijutsu.. the sand didnt try to block and catch the opponent far away from Gaara&#39;s body so it saved Gaaras fall alot of times when he got punched/kicked back.. Didnt happen in Lee fight except with the ura renge..

I do hope the other Gaara comes out for real, loved the shit in pants look on Sasuke when the evil eye looked at him

Really liked that they got the better team to animate this episode, cause Sasuke looked alot better in this one.. Didnt look at all that cocky and im all that this time.. He managed pretty good.
The Chidori was a nice surprise aswell as Gaara beeing able to take the hit and Sasuke also released one more chakara burst when his hand got stuck too..

And the start of a war mmmm Bet we gonna see a really badass fight kage vs kage hehe.. And We might even get to see Gai rock n roll and maby even some Kabuto action. Maby even Iruka joins the asskicking.

All I can say is

that ep was pretty good...not GREAT, but still good. i think alot of ppl (including myself) were expecting the rock lee type fight, expecially after all the training and waiting, and since it all of a sudden got interupted, some ppl didnt find it as good as it could&#39;ve been......its like ur nearing orgasm and *BAM* u have to wait to week to finish it (ok, bad example )

anyway, the chidori was really awsome, althogh they needed music. if u pay attention, they dont have that &quot;action&quot; music they play during the really cool scenes (like in the lee/gaara fight, or when kakashi did his chidori), but the actual animation of the move was great. they way sasuke pulls his arm back, and it tears away at the wall, and then leaves a mark in the floor as he runs........

but what was also great was when gai explains how the move earned the name &quot;lightning edge&quot; ....holy shit, a freaking lightning bolt??&#33;?&#33;?&#33;? who ever thought kakashi was all bark and no bite was DEAD wrong

as for the mommy thing, i think mayb......well when we first learn about gaara&#39;s past (in the hospital i htink) he says that he killed his mother when he was born (as in, she died giving birth, i think) and that was partly due to the demon that was implanted in him......so mayb he think his mother is part of him/the demon, and the demon is his mother. we are talking about the mind of a psychopath after all.....u never know what they&#39;re like.

The next couple of eps are gonna b SOO awsome.....i almost wish i could somehow stop watching for like 2 months, and see the whole war at once ......the summon that the sand nins did....it looked to me like the 3 heads were attached to one body....like some hydra type creature. it would make more sense since snakes are like oro&#39;s department......but im probably wrong. either way, i&#39;d bet naruto is gonna summon gamabunta to go up against the summon.

kakshi&#39;s gonna fight kabuto most likely, temari and kankaro (if they dont have some predefined part to play) will probably face off aganist shino and shika. sasuke will obviously keep fighting gaara (btw how come gaara and sasuke didn&#39;t faint as well? or did they?). that just leaves neji....i really hope we see him do something. i&#39;d like to c what he can do with his new outlook on life/destiny.

theres still the matter of gai.....he&#39;ll probably go along with the anbu squads or face one of kazekage&#39;s guards. it seems the only ppl awake now are ALL jounin elites (except sakura) so the next few eps are gonna b some crazy ass battles. the sound nins are elite chuunins at best, so they&#39;ll b slaughtered, but the sand nins will b tough apponents.

i wonder when jiraya and oro will show up. hopefully they&#39;ll go at it as well, to give us another awsome fight (though i doubt we&#39;d b that lucky)

How can Gai compete with Kakashi...I think Kakashi is pretty freaking fast in order to pull off Chidori, and unlike Gai..he&#39;s got a ton of other jitsu&#39;s he can use.

Yeah I get the feeling Gaara atleast thinks his mother is somewhat part of shukaku.. Casue it has to be his mind and shukaku batteling inside his mind about blood Shukaku seems to really want some nice blood. And hell yeah he&#39;s a psycho allright twistedly disturbed x100..

I do wonder what impact Shukaku has on Gaara. How much actually is Gaara and what actually is the other monstery thing.. And it seems the more gaara hates and the more pissed he gets the more shit he reveals, MAN I want to see that thing&#33;

And it also seems the better opponents Gaara faces the more things he does.. Casue Temari wondered if Sasuke actually pressured Gaara that much to start getting serious. I think Gaara loves the rush aswell about fighting stronger and stronger opponents.. Hope Sasuke and Gaara keeps on fighting in the war or that someone even stronger comes arround to let Gaara go all out. That will probably more accurate. Casue I dont think Sasuke stands a chance in hell if Gaara gets really serious/pissed/psycho or whatever.


Hmm why wouldnt Gai be able to compete with Kakashi?.. Do we know that Gai is only Taijutsu like Lee is?.. I dont think Gai is someone to underestimate.. A good fighter learns how to adopt to different fighting styles. And if it&#39;s true that Kakashi and Gai has actually fought eachother a 100 times then Im pretty sure they know eachother pretty well.. And If Lee is that fast imagine what Gai must be. Ohh and Gai must be able to use ninjutsu cause he summoned I think that funkey turtle I dont think Lee can ever do that..

Was a good ep, but.. Maybe I just had my expectations too high. Not as much action as I thought there should have been and a lil too much (in some cases repetetive) crowd reaction.

Gaara is talking to his mother.. cause she was sacrificed upon his birth to the sand spirit that is posessed in him. Basically SHE is the sand spirit. And she&#39;s trying to take over Gaara to do his dirty work for him if he doesn&#39;t do it well enough himself. That&#39;s how I see it anyway. I think the whole psychopath role was really well done.

Oh yeah and there was music during the Chidori, just wasn&#39;t the usual music. A lil hard to hear over Chidori&#39;s sounds, but it&#39;s there.

gai isnt able to be as smart as kakashi, but i think hes strong as his attacks, he must have a buttload of combos or something in his sleaves.

Um.. yeah.. he ran like a pansy...and this ep was overhyped... the fighting lasted all of what? 2 minutes? The rest was all flashs and staring at each other. But the fight scenes were done nicely.

This is the point... the Sharingan only allows you to SEE what&#39;s going on, getting your body used to it is another matter. Lee&#39;s Taijitsu puts stress on the body, to which his muscles have matured and grown used to to. Seeing is one thing, executing is another. With Jutsu it&#39;s another story, since jutsu are about channelling chakra in the right amount and performing the correct hand seals.

Just because Lee idolizes Gai-sensei and copied his look doesn&#39;t mean that they have the same jutsu abilities. I&#39;m sure Gai-sensei can do the fast taijutsu like Lee, but as he can perform nin and genjutsus as well, he is almost certainly a force to be reckoned with. We have seen a lot of what Kakashi can do (which is extremely cool) but very little (if any, we know he can stop Gaara dead in his tracks) of what Gai-sensei can do. Don&#39;t underestimate Gai because he is a super-nerd&#33;

Yeh, not as good as what i was expecting.
Sasuke has gotten better, but only thanks to Lee. If it wasn&#39;t for Lee&#39;s style, he wouldnt hav even made it past the prelims, let alone take on Gaara. Sad really, seeing as it took Lee a lot of time and dedication to get to where he is now.
It&#39;s like he uses Lee to clear the path for him, then he walks it.

I liked this episode (or better these episodes) guite much, even I think I&#39;ve seen better. Hmm, some people have also noticed that Sasuke running looks strange. Well, I also noticed it, but he doesn&#39;t run the same way all the time. In my opinion his running looked strtange only one time. Someone noticed that when Kiba fainted, his dog Akamaru fainted too. I didn&#39;t notice it myself, but that seems to be guite strange. I think in the next episodes there is going to be a lot more action, so maybe those episodes will be fun, if the fighting just will be animated well enough. After all it was a good episode, even I expected more from the fight between Gaara and Sasuke.
