I was just thinking. that maybe all the sound nins are second rate nins anyway.... since sound is newly created it wouldn't have had time to train up shinobi to Jounin level... and somehow I don't think all the Jounin missing nin's of the other villages would wind up in the sound village...... so who thinks they are gonna get slaughtered?

Anyway, That was a SWEET episode set...
TWO weeks!? Why must we wait two weeks!? I'm going to pull a Gaara on someone!J/K So does anyone else think that Naruto might summon the Frog boss? Maybe not, but it would make a nice counter to that summoning techinque.
What REALLY disturbed me about that episode, was the fact that Gaara was talking to mother about killing Sasuke... and his mother isn't anywhere to be found.... either that or she is the demon. Gaara is just creepy... creepy.

Isn't Genma only a Chuunin? I don't think he'd be much of a match for Baki...remember, Baki made short work of Hayate, and Genma and Hayate seem to be much on the same level as far as I can infer. This episode was indeed painfully slow, especially for those of us who read the manga...seems like they added too much filler, but I guess they wanted to set up the ep so that the "plan" came into action at the very end. The fight was definitely not wall-to-wall action, but it was fun to see Gaara'a true potential begin to be unveiled. That eye! haha But that being said, two weeks is waaaaaaay too long to see the next episode in action. I'm SO glad that something is actually happening other than Chuunin exam battles...
*edit* I was just looking at that picture of Kakashi asleep in his bed with his three man team from when he was a kid above him. Is that Genma on the left with the straw hanging out of his mouth? If so, then I guess Genma is a jounin....
I have to say I was disappointed with this episode. There was too much explanation of the chidori and not enough action. I also wondered why Akamaru fainted when Kabuto hit Kiba. I was hoping that this would be more of a one on one match and not just a precursor to the war, but oh well. On a positive note, I'm very excited about the upcoming war.

aghh im tired of that question. It seems simple.. its like electricity .. if that would been a lightning both would get fried. Its the same thing.. that greenish thing must have been some kind of shock that spread to akamaru.. it isnt so hard to figure it out.
I liked those part were sakura said "Sasuke is awesome" and Lee drops his head and starts to mope.
the only thing that pisses me off is that lee takes the shaft. sasuke shouldnt have gotten that fast in one months time. really discredits lee and all of his hard work, I honostly think that the author made a sub-character **rock lee** too bad ass so he had to make up for his error........=D.
They said Sakuras knowledge on genjutsu is the highest so yeah.. If anyone could disspell it, its gonna be her. Also with how lazy Shik is maybe he just thought "hmm, I was in the mood for a nap either way might aswell just let the jutsu get me"
I wish Gaara had finished his little evolution. Naruto got to do his while fighting Neji. Gaara should have been able to do his too.
As for Akamaru fainting... its like a shockgun or something it spreads and akamaru was ontop of kiba.
I Hope we get to see Gai or some of the other jounins in action for a change.
i want them to make a vidoe containing Sasuke from 66-67 and other episodes ,.. and some fast music kinda rock or something like that...anyway it would be great

this episode was really good but what pissed me off was sasuke's weird kind of run where he looked way too upright. also shikamaru was drawn as kind of chubby. (i thouhgt maybe the artists wanted to show he was bruised and puffy)
the reason we have to wait two weeks is b/c there will be a special prince of tennis episode that i guess will take naruto's time as well.
cant wait till we get to see the next episodes.
The best effect in that episode is where it shows Sasuke punching Gaara and Lee's ghost mirroring the punch.
...The actually fighting started about 11:00 into the episode...that was kind of crap. Anyways, the episode was pretty good, but I still like Ep. 48 better
