What better way? How about just sticking to the manga all of the time, instead of adding filler, changing things and leaving out a lot. The could have made another 26 episode season of that last story arc.

In my opinion Kenshin would have been better than Naruto overall if it wasn&#39;t for the third season which consisted entirely of filler which was so bad the it killed the series. the lack of resolution (yes even with the second OVA series) and filler episodes really bring this series down. Don&#39;t get me wrong: I still think the first OVA series and the non-filler episodes are great though.

They got that revenge arc in seisouhen, but i think it went to fasat, maybe 10 minutes that&#39;s all... but seisouhen was kind of wierd because it was many flashbacks and you didn&#39;t know how old they was and in what year, there were so many of them... confusing..

I totally agree with you on this one Itachi. Seisouhen felt very messy and was confusing. It had a kind of &quot;soap opera&quot; feeling to it, but it still worked on me. I know it&#39;s crappy, but it still made me and my sister really sad while watching it.

The manga own that lousy anime..., man i wished they would have animated more then they actually did... just check the revenge arc, and btw the flashbacks (reminisence in manga), was awesome, much more detailed description... thanks to you kakashi&#33;

Forget about all that shit.

Only the 4 OAV&#39;s are any good (they were released her as Samurai X Trust and Betrayal)

The anime sucks, so does the Seishousen OAV (Samurai X: Reminisce or whatever), and RK the Motion Picture (Samura X: the Motion Picture). Forget about those.

Read the manga volumes, it is 100X better than worrying about the anime filler shit and the half assed OAV.

The manga also has a few specials, a 5 page conclusion to Rurouni Kenshin called Cherry Blossoms in Spring. It also has a follow up One Shot called Yahiko no Sakabatou.

Oh and you are welcome Itachi, glad to know I have helped a fellow Kenshin fan see the series the way it was meant to be seen.

i watched some of the TV episodes...they were kinda sketchy, i dunno if they were gonna be that good so i stopped dling them.

The anime episodes that stuck to the manga were all GREAT. If someone had the time on their hands they should have listed the episodes that actually followd the manga all the way up to the Kyoto Epilogue.

The only problem with the anime before Kyoto&#39;s Conclusion is that they put filler in about Sumo Wrestlers or what not. That is why I prefer the manga.

After Kyoto, it all just went to hell in the anime.

That incident at Shimabara really did happen in Japanese history, but I am sorry, it just wasn&#39;t right for Kenshin.

Why didn&#39;t they animate more from the manga, they&#39;re about the same until they were returning to tokyo from kyoto fighting shisio, after that, what the fuck, something about a fat dog, sumo wreslers... One thing was good about the filers and that was some parts in the shimabara arc, when they talked about hiko seijuro 12th and all that important stuff...., back to my question why didn&#39;t they following the manga and animate the manga chapters after the kyoto arc?&#33; they did those filler episodes which was kenshins fall&#33; just WHY&#33;?

Someone complained of spoiling here. I won&#39;t warn anyone for that because the spoils refer to years old anime.. however, if you get any further off topic than what this series is about (seisouhen), I&#39;m going to close this.

I&#39;ve only read the manga. I&#39;ve watched one episode of kenshin and i hated it right of the bat. I liked the movie though. too bad he dies, but you could see it coming when at the end, Magumi tells kenshin about the strain his fights have given the body.
