Which one of his students does Kakashi favor?

I say that Kakashi favors Sasuke the most. I havent read the manga and there might be a reason or something but so far, it seems like Kakashi likes Sasuke over Sakura/Naruto.

After the preliminaries, we know that Kakashi trained Sasuke and let the Eibu (cant spell >&lt guy train Naruto. I doubt Eibu could have taught Naruto much ( I highly doubt he could have taught Naruto what Jiraya did) and then Neji would have probably crushed Naruto. Kakashi knew how strong Neji was from watching the prelim fight and he probably knew Naruto had no chance against him. However...he still decides to help Sasuke rather than help Naruto. (as for Sakura...he's probably given up hope on her...)

So if Jiraya wasnt there...Naruto probably would have gotten beat ( if his kyubi doesnt take over him)

Kakashi wants to help sasuke instead of naruto, i dont know why. i havent come up with a good enough answer to post.

Kakashi likes them all the same.

He trained Sasuke because they are the same type of ninja. You will find out in 66-67 what I mean by that.

The reason he had Ebisu train Naruto was because Ebisu was an expert in controlling Chakra. Something that Naruto needed to study more than what Kakashi taugh Sasuke. Again...see episode 66-67 to see what was taugh, but hell it was in the preview last ep.

He likes Naruto because in theory he is the son of his sensei.

He likes Sasuke because in theory he has his fathers(or other relatives) Sharingan.

He likes Sakura because she is the closest thing he has to a little sister.

I don't think he plays favorites at all. Perhaps he and Jiraiya had it all planned out this way.

I think Kakashi favors Sasuke because he's the one who understands how to use the Sharingan and Naruto on the other hand needs Jiraiya to teach him how to use Kyuubis Chakra.

I think Kakashi favors Sasuke because he&#39;s a Uchiha, and the theory is that one of Kakashi&#39;s teammates was a Uchiha.

I wouldnt necessarily say he favors any, with an easy look its definaiely Sasuke, but he likes things bout all his students:

Sasuke: (slight spoiler- from eps 66-67)

Naruto: Has alot of potential and is getting stronger all the time

yup like what you just said is a theory too. But he did say watch 66-67 to see what he means... also IT COULD BE ASSUMED that he only taught sasuke after prelim because he and sasuke are both sharingan users. Just like kakashi said when naruto when to ask him to train him.

P.S. I haven&#39;t seen any reason that kakashi favors a certain student. Hey guess which student gai favors.

Sasuke because probably because he can train him the best. For example he can teach him how to utalize the sharingan. Kakashi can&#39;t do that for Naruto or Sakura, he can only teach them the basics.

But anyways back to the poll.
Sasuke, well if you guys don&#39;t know why he picked sasuke instead of Naruto, Is because the the curse seal, Kakashi needed to train sasuke to handle the curse and train him accordingly. (This is from infering). Unless you have watched eps. 66-67. I won&#39;t tell you how this goes. But Naruto Ends up finding a &quot;Elite&quot; Teacher. Which seemed like he knowed about the Kyubi seal and about how it&#39;s charka is affecting Naruto&#39;s Charka. Seemed that watned to train naruto to make his charka balanced. But if naruto didnt meet Jiriya (I don&#39;t care how you spell it..close enough) His 5 seals wouldn&#39;t have been unsealed. So if you think about it, Either way Naruto Would have been trained to use his powers accordingly. Either by balancing Charka Control, or making naruto be able to use his enormous charka/stamina to his advantage.

Plus to my thinking Kakashi probably told Closet-Pervert all about the seal and how naruto fights and his disadvantages, Kakashi is that careless and wouldn&#39;t let his teamates/friends down,(Stated earlier in the anime, not directly given). Kakashi doesn&#39;t nessacarly FAVOR anyone, but under the circumstances given to him, and his past?? Kakashi might have known what the seal can do. SO there fore i just spend 3 minutes thinking of this explination for the forums. Geez i need something to do.

that is why i don&#39;t like kakashi as much anymore. he favors sasuke, and dousn&#39;t care about sakura or naruto. if it wasn&#39;t for jiraiya, naruto would still be weak. in that month, jiraiya trained naruto more than kakashi had

i feel the most sorry for sakura though. whoever is gonna teach her something sometime has got te be a really great teacher to make her anywhere near konohamaru&#39;s strenght...
