i agree, they embed the chakra into things and body parts, like water, air, and their hands and feet, i dont think the rain ninja was guiding the needles with his chakra, i'd have to go bakc to make sure, gaaras sand is controlled by him but thru demonic powers, the priest spirit gives him the ability to do what he does, temari, it'd seem to me that she puts her chakra out into the wind that she thrusts out from her fan and causes them to form blades and from the speed of the wind pushing them it becomes damaging, if u could embed chakra into weapons and guide them to the people i think no one would miss, also, who's to say that if u could get ur chakra into a weapon u'd be able to make it move where u want it to go, this isnt quite dbz, u cant just telepathically control chakra u've already manifested outta ur body, or at least they dont give us any examples of that anyways, if that were the case u'd have dbz on ur hands cuz all it'd make sense to do is spit out a ball of chakra and send it at ur opponent and make sure it hits, and we dont want a dbz coming outta our naruto

p.s. - the only example i've seen of someone controlling something that was thrown was sasuke with the sharingan controlled shurikens and we already know hes got strings attached

Good to know that there are many who think like me!
Yeah you know where I'm getting at! You'r all weirdos! No... just kidding

The chakra isn't applied straightly to the weapon, but to amplify its effect.

yeah, they cant put chakra directly into a weapon but they can put it around it if they know how to, its much like Dosu directing the sound by using his chakra - he forces it into the direction he wants it to go by applying chakra around it.
I think they only one possible of applying chakra into things is Neji and some of the higher up Hyuga (although we havent seen them we can assume they're as skilled with gentle fist as him) but they train their whole style to be able to do that, and its offensive chakra to damage internal organs

tbh i dont think the naruto world is meant to be taken too seriously lol, jst look at the fact that they have televisions, VCRs, etc and yet they dont use mobilephones (would be handy to call in backup&#33, cars, etc. so dont delve too deeply into the exact workings of the chakra system, i think the creators put chakra in to allow them to create a range of cool abilities, that wouldnt be possible without some cause for it, ie. chakra .

Waht are you implying? Are you suggesting that...? OH MY GOD! I've just realized that you are not a true Naruto fan. You traitor! The world of Naruto is everything to uss. Man you are mocking the god that is Naruto! We will all beat you with our mighty jutsus!
Not really.

im taking physics at university so i have every right to question the validity of the naruto world

You really don't read science rewiews do you? This day many scientists agree on that there are multiple universes. Oops... But they all function the same way as our's. Damn

Well looks like I have to use the classic.

Naruto is a part of us. It exists within our minds and hearts. And by that we know it and hold Naruto dear and true.

Oh and it isn't said that it isn't possible to exist that kind of universe. Just very, very far away... (not like in distance or time, but from our laws of physics)

But maybe the people there have been able to awaken their previously hidden psychic powers. And this psycic power would be chakra!

I have no idea what i just said

hes not the only one, neitehr is the hyuuga clan, many attacks involve chakra slamming the person, like temaris windattack and kakashi's lightning edge, even sorta sasukes fire attacks, and the upcoming chidori, he uses chakra to somehow produce fire and shoots it and lightning edge/chidori are just chakra that he slaps into the person lol as seen in the zabuza fight, so a lot of people can probalby attack with chakra like the hyuga clan can, but the diff is that they can slam the chakra into ur vital organs cuz they either know or can see all the vital chakra points in ur body, i know they can see ur chakra holes but i duno if they can see ur vital organs with byakugan, either way they're not the only ones that attack using chakra, just the best we know of

im going to either durham university (if i get the required grades) or st. andrews university (unconditional offer ) to do physics next year. both are in the top 3 unis for physics in the UK, durham being the best (so the Times said)

14. #14
Man, you must be smart and rich... or just rich.
What are your grades? I take it that with the possibility of getting into one of the 3 top universities you must be good.

It would be nice to know if someone could make enchanted weapons.
Oh I know... The Creators.

Chakra seems to work by channeling it through objects to move them where you want to go Dosu was able to manipulate his soundwaves because they were coming from the speaker embedded in his arm

Temari could put chakra into the wind coming from her fan, Tenten puts it into the strings coming from her weapons and so does Sasuke for his triple blade everyone remembers Ino putting it through her hair to catch Sakura.

Even Lee puts some of his chakra into the bandages on his arms to make them come off for the Lotus.

You can manipulate objects with your chakra provided it is connected with your body the only exception seems to be Karasu with his puppet.

The rain nin was able to push his needles towards Gaara with his chakra before he threw his umbrella (remember the needles were pretty dispursed and Gaara never moved an inch)

If Gaara had tried running he wouldn't have gotten so many direct hits but some would have still connected.

16. #16
well, the rain nin explained that his justu was unstoppable because he GUIDED the needles with his chakra to strike the oppent (all the needles)...

so that must mean he was able to guide the needles around even IF the oppent moved.

so my idea was, why dont they do that for every weapon? or something.

17. #17
i haven't seen anyone embed chakra to controll where it goes everyone just aims and its just that it curves and stuff.. cuz if they could do it then the sharingan controlled shurikens wouldn't be so impressive..

18. #18
I would think that they can put chakra in the elements (wind, sand(earth), water etc) but not in items unless they've trained some specific skill?
Respect the joindate, not the postcount ;P

BECAUSE NO ONE IS TALENTED LIKE ME! MY RAIN NIN CAN USE CHAKRA BETTER THAN ANYONE! I'M UNSTOPPABLE! *Puts flame wall so no flames on me about my "death" which never happen because the animation was so bad that it looked like i died*

The nin that relies in his weapons the most would be...Kankuro? I dont think you can insert chakra into the weapons, I only think you can guide them or manipulate them. (however you want to call it)
