In episode 64 Shikimaru catches Temari with his Shadow Bind thing through the hole that Naruto made. The shadow goes from Shik in through one end of the hole and out the other end to Temari.

In episode 65 the shadow goes directly from Shik to Temari, pretty stupid thing to miss.
