I don't agree here, I think he underestimated Lee and it almost cost him his life but he could have more easily beat him if he had gone all out to begin with.

My favorite scene is probably when Neji gets what is comming to him from Naruto.

Well, I look at the gourde gaara's trump card. In any situation that would have arised where gaara might lose his life, such as gaara getting wasted by the primary lotus, that's when he'd pull out the trump card. So, it was well planned. There was a time I agreed with you though. Remember when Lee tried to do the secondary lotus? What made me think gaara lucked out at the time, was when lee flinched while doing it. If he hadn't flinched, gaara would have had to use the gourde. My logic was, if gaara was to use the gourde and lee could see it, then maybe lee could have figured a way around it for the primary lotus. However, the sasuke/naruto vs. gaara fight, gaara would have just transformed and then rock would probably have lost, because he could only sustain the effort for so long with the primary lotus. I don't think he'd have time to beat gaara with it.

Ya I know Uchiha, but I was saying that Lee did stand a chance at first because Gaara underestimated him and didn't put up the real ultimate defense in the first place I also think he could have simply beat Gaara by not going with the lotus and just keep beating him to a pulp with simple kicks and punches until he passed out from the pain.

You might watch Dragon Ball Z but I think that was not what Naruto is about but rather I would say for the fighting aspect of the series the chuunin exams were more along the lines of what I expect because those fights were much more interesting than powerup attack get beat, powerup some more win imo(though Lee and Naruto did this a little though I thought it was totaly unlike DBZ fighting).

I'd have to say my favorite scene is during the 3rd's funeral service, the setting was good and everyone in all black really made you feel sad for him and showed how much respect the people had and how great of a ninja the 3rd was.

One of my favourite was when Sasuki was fighting during the chunnin exam. The one when he copied Lee's style. The sound was really spectacular.

My favorite scene would've been Hinata kicking Neji's butt. I was so waiting for her to just go off and go all insane like and kick his ass. (In the 40-50 episodes)

But then she didn't... and I was all like... WTF??!?!?!?

I hope she gets to later on in the series though

I just loved the part where Konohamaru (mind the spell) went to attack the 3rd in some early episodes. They had the music ready as if something big was going to happen then BAM he fell flat on his ass.

- when naruto went all kyubi fighting haku
- when naruto summoned the kyubi's chakra during the fight w/ neji and everyone was shocked (i love to see ppl's reaction to naruto's improvement. GO NARUTO!!)
- when masamune mentioned the chidori scene, i remembered how much i laughed when i watched it
- when rock lee dropped his weights and kakashi told gai that it was too much
- it's not a cool scene but a cute scene. neji's flashback when he was 4 and hinata was 3 and he told his father that hinata was cute.
- the 1st chunnin exam when everyone was cheating like crazy and naruto wrote nothing. GO NARUTO!!
- the scene when naruto was fighting gaara. sasuke told naruto to stop and that he has to protect his "close friends" no matter what and naruto was like "close friends..." and get really emotional. sometimes, sasuke is a really good friends. oh yea!! during the haku battle and naruto ask sasuke why he saved him and sasuke said " i dont' know why, my body moved on its own" and i really like sasuke then.

When he tries to motivate Shikamaru, or when he tells that he uses the same shampoo as Hinata... Stupid, but still very funny moments.

- The fight were Sasuke and Naruto trick Zabuza.

well the scene that really changed my opinion about Naruto being the main charector which funny enough became my fav scene, becasue when i 1st started i thought saskue was a way better charector than Naruto...
but the scene when they go on the mist quest ep8 or so and when zabuza captues kakashi in that water prison and they have to fight the water clone, and on the verge of freeking out and run away Naruto remembers his promise to never run again and comes up with the plan to free kakashi man that scene changed my opion for ever since then i respected Naruto and really believes that he has earned the right to be the main charector!!!
