yeh ur wrong, sure hes got the limp and bum arm due to gaara, but the reason they said he couldnt be a shinobi anymore is that hes got a bunch of shattered bone fragments in his spine, thats what his surgery is dealing with( the spine)
i think it was that if he continued to be a shinobi the fragments would somehow go up to his brain and kill him...im most likely wrong but oh well

Yeah, Gaara's sand attack totally crushed his arm and leg. The rest of his body is probably undergoing the stress of opening gates.
I don't think Lee's gonna die. When you see that old flashbackof Tsunade and her younger brother, you know something good's gonna happen.
And Kumiriko - Chouji ate some pills to get stronger. That's not really that impressive.
Lee won't die. Of course not. You simply can't kill someone as entirely wonderful as he is.
I don't really think any of the kids are gonna die, anyway. I'm an optimist ...
i wonder if lee will be able to open the gates without much effect after this, like when you break boards karate your bones slowly build up and get stronger the more you do it. so maybe lee will be able to open 1 or 2 gates with little effect after some time

That theory is crazy,but good.If Lee built up an immunity to its effects,that would add quite a twist.

i think that it could make a good plot twist and give lee what he needs to be a powerfull person in the manga again.
He`ll hopefully survive...and come back even more badass. Then sakura will realise how much sasuke sucks.

Yep, you're wrong.
The danger is not the fragments going up to his brain, but that they can cause permament paralization if they disprupt the nerves in his spine.
there are three types of jutsus...one jutsu shouldn't be able to cancel out the other two even if that one jutsu has been mastered x 10^6893.
If Lee learned anything other than taijutsu, he's not Lee anymore.
i still want him to be able to open at least 1 gate with no effect. more would be better, wouldnt it be sweet after training when hes really old lee could open all of them and live through it. that way lee could still be lee but stronger...
