That would be stupid. It would make Rock Lee a lot more generic.
I'd rather see him come back and just stay a Taijutsu specialist, only more powerful.

Umm ... no. We won't see a very upset Gai, but a dead Gai. Remember his promise to Rock if the surgery didn't go as planned?. Oh wouldn't it be awesome if Lee was able to use jutsu's after his operation. Like it's some sort of side effect of the operation or something
I really hope that he won't be able to use jutsus, because if he can then his way of ninja would be destroyed.

How can you even compare him to Sakura 0-0 he could wipe the floor with her in one half assed move.
And something that would be cool is if he did not learn any cheesy jutsus, maybe increased the control of chakra within his own body a little, but thats it. The Taijutsu only thing gives him a unique and cool persona. Not to mention, he could make it his goal to become the greatest Taijutsu master ever - he could master it to a degree where it almost/or even does cancel out the disadvantage of no jutsus. Would be awesome to see how far he could go.

Of course she'll fix that to and he'll become more than a one dimensional character. Kind of like the Simpson's episode where they take the crayon out of Homer's head (through his nostrils) and he becomes a genius.
I would like to see Rock Lee become a prosperous ninja. He has alot of pride and honor.

well said. I also have high hopes for Lee. It would be a damn shame to have such a noble character like him go to waste.

A curious question from someone who certainly doesn't have all the answers himself...
Rock Lee is admitted, by Gai (I still like to call him Guy) to be a complete Taijutsu specialist, unable to effectively use Genjutsu or Ninjutsu.
Yet I wonder, he must have some talent floating around in that Chakra of his; otherwise, how does he control his bandages for the binding portion of the Lotus Combo?
