sharingan = looks cooler and more rare
byakugan = better powers

using the sharingan seems cowardly. some people train their ass off to learn certain difficult jutsus, yet an Uchiha can simply "copy" it and use it in a short period of time. The sharingan is just simply not "original" it's like...stealing, plagerizing(sp?), etc etc...
