Thread: To whoever made the Shikamaru AMV

    I downloaded the Shikamaru AMV (i can't remember who made it, it was a link in someone's sig)....

    I can't get it to work in ANY of my media players (divx, windows media, quicktime...), all I get is sound, no video. Media player tried to download a codec and it didn't work.

    What should I do? I would love to watch the AMV. Is there some special codec or something I need (like Xvid? or something wierd?)? I don't know much about codecs, though.

    (btw, my comp is running Windows ME, and there's nothing I can do about that. I believe though, my Media Player has been upgraded about as much as I can get it.)

    I wasn't sure where to post this, I hope someone sees it and can help me out.

    HEY!
    of course I'll try to help u after all U want to watch my AMV

    You need the Xvid MPEG-4 codec, but I have no idea where to get it

    Maybe someone else knows a place to download it? (I'll look around in the meantime)

    i believe that www.3ivx.com is the site you need to visit. their pack has all the mpeg, xvid, and divx codecs. i use it and i havent had any trouble with anything i watch yet.

    I thought the Shikamaru music vid was pretty good but you should wait till later in the series when we see more of Shikamaru. Then you can really make a good Shikamaru vid.

    I just have to tell you that you did a good job.

    Except for the choice of music. You decided to use the worst pop band in Finland ever. That ruined a good AMV for me
