its pretty obvious to most of us who narutos dad is...i found out first ep, haha. but, yes, a good question would be who is mom was, i was thinking a couple weeks to start a thread about it but im too lazy, hehe.

For all we know Kyuubi was in woman form for so long that it forgot its true form.
Giving birth to Naruto caused Kyuubi to revert back to itself(but not right away&#33.
Anyways I'm gonna stick to the mom theory until proof starts to reveal otherwise.

just to say if kakshi is gonna be anyones dad its sasuke. I know the sharingan 'wasnt always there' but there's a bond. i can picture them fidshing together. Plus if kakashi had a kid, he'd be harder than naruto without kyubi. but ive been re watching eps and jirya is lookin a likely candidate. Ebisu-sama says he understands when jirya wants to train Naruto. Jirya watches Naruto sleep. Naruto is comfortable getting undressed infront of Jirya (a little weird), they're both perverted joker types. hmmm...

Im undecided here.

To back up the fourth theory. Gamabunta said he 'knew' naruto summoned him. Is there a link hint there maybe? Does he know who Naruto is, and know why he'd have amazingly massive chakra? hmmm..

Also, no one commented anything aboot my theory of the 4th being alive.

Exactly, most likely no one knows(except perhaps, the 4th's closests friends and relatives) that Naruto is the 4th's son.

Well at this point all we can say about Naruto&#39;s father is that the 4th is the most likely suspect.

But there are things that happen that make this seem a little unlikely (mostly the fact that the Villagers didn&#39;t like Naruto).

As for the Demon fox being his mother -that&#39;s the theory I accept at this time also - someone mentioned that they didn&#39;t think that it was possible, but consider this - every time that Naruto pulled out the Kyuubi chakra early on - it was to protect or save naruto... and now that he&#39;s learned to feel the Demon inside him - all he has to do is ask for it and the chakra is given to him.

Compare this to the only other person in the series that we have seen with a demon - Gaara.

Gaara seems to be an example of someone who has a demon inside them trying to hurt them or break free; Naruto&#39;s demon just seems to be hanging out and letting him live his own life most of the time.

Considering that the little information we have seems to indicate that the Fox demon was the most powerful of the 9 demons ..

umm crap I think have to stop there or I wander into potential spoiler territory.

anyways - the fact that Kyuubi seems so benign towards Naruto may be a sign of relation or just a plot device - we don&#39;t know.

Oh - and the Snow queen thing in japanese lore is a ghost story.. it doesn&#39;t seem to be likely to have anything to do with Naruto&#39;s ancestry... but it may be about Haku&#39;s hidden village - and that would be cool.

News like the 4th having a son doesnt stay secret for long. no one was supposed to know about kyubi naruto and he found out anyways.

read my fanfic, it is a scenario in which the villagers do not know that Naruto is the 4ths son, they just think he is an orphan.

No spoilers in there, besides Tsunade and Jiraiya show up, their relationship I am speculating on too mind you.

it only makes sense as the 4th hokage&#39;s son...since he has no parents...and its not like he just appeared out of nowhere, the anime did say that it was sealed in a newborn baby

I agree that the Uzumaki clan could originate from a water country. In my fanfic Sound Infiltration, that I wrote early before last summer I had them as Mist Village refugees.


All this stuff about the Kyubi being his mother is just nonesense. I am not going to say anything else about it though.

Oh and the 4th wouldn&#39;t put the Kyubi in just any kid. Ah I am not going to explain my theory, just read my fanfic.

it would also explain why the 4th was late and had to be waited on... he could have been waiting for naruto to be born, and i think the mother may have died from the strain of child birth (i mean it is the olden times, that does happen)

another thing to support the &#39;kyubi is mother&#39; theory:

GAARA is supposed to be negative of Naruto (neo and smith from the matrix, Sasu and Tetsu from PMK...), and when Gaara talks with his sand, he refers to it as &quot;mother&quot;, so it might be a foreshadowing that Naruto&#39;s demon also has connection with motherhood.

here&#39;s something about the &quot;4th hokage is father&quot; THOERY:

let&#39;s say that the 4th is naruto father, we know that the 4th asked the 3rd to treat Naruto like a hero, which means that the two of them talked before the 4th died. and we know that the 3rd likes naruto and doesn&#39;t want everybody to hate him, so why didn&#39;t he tell anyone that Naruto is the 4th&#39;s son?

besides, Uzumaki Naruto sounds like..
A. an alias, two words with the same meaning, it&#39;s like having some one named Jhon jackson&#092;Jack jhonson, it&#39;s unatrual.
B. a watter country name, spirial and whirpool are both effects of watter and rivers, not a name fitting for someone from the fire country or the leaf villiage.

A can mean that Naruto was a name made up to cover something, B can mean his parents came from afar.
