Haven't seen the movie or the commercial but I already have low expectations for it (probably because of seeing Kung Pow.) From what I can piece together, it does look somewhat insulting to put a white guy in a serious/action movie titled, "The Last Samurai." Funny as hell too.

I don't see Jackie Chan or Jet Li in a movie title, "The Last Patriot." Though it would probably end up in the comedy genre. Usually these guys are in martial arts niche movies which is pretty stereotypical in itself, but that's a different subject.
