I agree with Strigeln. I really don't think anything could make Naruto go back on his word. That'd really mess with a lot of people's minds (such as Hinata). And I hope Sasuke doesn't become Naruto's enemy because I always thought of the two as best friends (though neither'll admit it). We'll have to see what Kishimoto-san will do.
You know how Vegeta(swe spl) in Dragonball joins Goku. I think in this case it will be a total opposite. Sasuke will become Narutos enemy. I do belive this since the writer of the naruto manga is a big fan of Akira Toriyama (or was it the writer of One Piece who were?)... ayway what do you guys think of this?

That's a good theory. I guess it depends on how much Kishimoto is willing to do with his favorite char (as he's admitted sasuke is his favorite, he's also the hardest char to draw apparently as well). I think it'd be cool if Sasuke and Naruto ended up as mortal enemies. Maybe Sasuke could be the first person to make Naruto go back on his word

nahh, the one to kill itachi is naruto.....

I'd imagine that Naruto will do his best (ie. not go back on his word) to get Sauske to go back to village, but sauske is going to be too power hungry to listen, and since neither will go back on their word, a fight to the death will begin

it sucks that Sasuke is Kishimoto's favorite character. He should keep him in that bucket until next year.

ok, any1 that can take on AND defeat itachi is no way in hell gonna have their ass handed to them by any1. they can be defeated but not without causing sum major damage 1st
i hope sasuke stays evil. that way naruto can beat him in the end. and the best thing would be if naruto beats itachi in front of sasukes eyes. i would love to see that.
If Naruto beats Itachi it'll be like a split
different from DB in that the second stringer doesn't join the hero

Itachi is so much like Freeza it's not even funny.
Personally i'd like to see Sasuke either get taken over by Orochimaru or somehow get enough power to beat Itachi.
It would be nice to see the second stringer beat somebody important i get bored of this main character wins every major fight thing unless there is a good reason for it.
stop saying that sasuke won't be the one to beat itachi. it's so obvious that he will be the one to do it, not naruto, not anyone else. sasuke won't beat itachi out of revenge but to save naruto when itachi is whooping naruto's ass.

Uber-powerful, wiped out the second stringer's family, well known and feared by practically everyone, second stringer wanted to be or emulate him at some point, second stringer cowered in fear when he knew he was going to die when facing him, nemesis easily whupped second stringer's ass etc.
In that regard they are very similar.

But if he stays evil he will face Itachi in a cople of years and nearly die when Naruto enters and beats Itachis ass.
half of you probably think freeza is "gay" cuz the toonami version made him sound like a 50 year old woman who smoked too many cigarettes. he really doesn't sound like that in the original version you know...
