It seems like Naruto is the only genin (or at least the only talented genin) that wants to become Hokage. Everyone else seems to have their own agenda. i.e. sauke wants to kill itachi, or Shikamaru doesn't really care about anything. I don't know much about any of the jounins but if Naruto even becomes a half decent ninja in the future I think he will probably have a good chance of becoming Hokage. ????? What do you think?
yea i think that naruto has the power to become hokage but....he's not to "book" smart and im sure thats one thing a hokage needs
That's not my point. My point is that no one else (with the exception of Konohanamaru or whatever his name is) wants to become hokage.
Because they know they are to weak to ever become Hokage...

Hmm, I guess that many of the Genins would like to become a Hokage one day. But Naruto is the only one who (dares) to say it.
Naruto`s sole dream is to have everyone aknowledge him...the only real way (he sees) to do this is to become Hokage. I reckon Neji and Sasuke are powerful enough to think of pursuing Hokage.

Naruto is looking to be acknowledged, and have the most power. To him, Hokage represents both those things.
It's also a driving force for him to succeed. Combine this with his promises to Lee and Hinata, his rivalry with sasuke, and his feelings towards gaara....it gived him alot to feed off of.

I think it was said b4 that Naruto wanted to become Hokage to make every1 acknowledge him and his greatness. Or maybe i thought it was in the anime but really i just generalized
Naruto will become Hokage, he has the power and his the way he fights as said it the last EP is with out giving up and testing him self and he does this as if it was nautral to him, and another quality that 3rd hokage point out that a hokage has to be willing to protect all his ninja as if they where all is his family and naruto has show this a few times already, He protected so many and fights for there honor as well as there lives seen in many eps. the driving goal for him to achive this will to be recozide and not fear for what in him, but the fact that he want that strength to help others. I bet Naruto is almost a mirror image of the 4th hokage and the 3rd hokage see this and so did the guy that taught him the to summon the frog.

naruto will become the cruel leader, if you dont acknowledge him as the almighty, you get sentinced to death
but seriously i think this whole hokage thing is kinda dumb.. its not really a position that people compete for, its not all that glorious, i think its just to make the townsfolk feel safe
you dont see people challeneging the 5th to deathmatches daily, now do you?
naruto just wants the position so that he will be noticed, he would prbably be a horrible hokage
lol Naruto would make a horrible hokage. With the kyubi I'm sure he'll be the strongest, but not every has instant heal like him. He would make plans that would send normal or even highly elite jounins to there deaths.
