Jounin Or ANBU

its nothing more then a rank in the village
Kabuto never got past genin in ranking, so he remains a genin - no matter his strength.
these ranks determine what missions they go on, thats all it does, Kabuto doesnt deal with missions in the same way as the leaf nin do so for his purpose he doesnt NEED to be a jounin or a chuunin

What about Kakashi then? He is a jounin and still an active ninja. Also, when Kabuto went to the hospital to capture/kill Sasgay, Kakashi said that the ANBU Kabuto killed were prepared by himself. How does that make them a lower level.Kakashi could have just wanted to specially select the best to protect Sasuke instead of random Anbu members being sent out.That doesn&#39;t imply they are lower,they weren&#39;t taking orders from Kakashi,there orders came from the Hokage.

No, you&#39;re wrong... He&#39;s a jounin... you can qualify from a genin to a jounin directly...

You&#39;re an idiot. Kabuto is a GENIN IN STATUS. Yes, he might have Jounin and above strength and leadership, but according to the numbers, he&#39;s still a genin.

Actually, it&#39;s perfectly ok to have a Genin as a right hand. Jounin is merely a rank. A show.

This is what i think. ANBU and Special Jounin are da same rank. So basically you go from academy-genin-chuunin-jounin...and when you&#39;re a jounin going on to the next level...i believe you can choose either to be a special jounin or ANBU. For instance...those who choose to be a special jounin are probably the ones who dont wanna live a gory life. Cuz ANBU is assigned to kill, assassinate, etc. and special jounins rather teach genins or just do simple missions. So IMO special jounin and ANBU are the same rank (rank above the ordinary jounin level) but juss assigned with different things.

Another example...FBI and CIA.
FBI= special jounin
CIA=ANBU

they&#39;re both considered to be top, but CIA deals with bigger problems. And dere can be stronger cops in the FBI den in the CIA, but just chose not to join the CIA..you know wat im sayin? Kakashi was ANBU, but i bet he resigned cuz it was such a hassle.

Although Kabuto is an official Genin... his level is not far off Kakashi&#39;s.
And the subject between ANBU and Jounin. Basically... the ninja&#39;s in the ANBU team are Jounin... or at least Jounin level. Whoever is stronger really depends on the ninja.
