Why isn't Neji in the poll? He is pretty fast. (He matched Lee's speed, otherwise he couldn't hit him, right?) And sasgay is missing too. And also Kakashi.
well i voted lee, and you shoulda had haku.... even haku was faster than kiba IMO.
I dunno...Naruto using Kyubi's power was quick as Rock Lee...but I think Rock Lee was way fast.
Well i'd have to say Naruto... Sure he isn't using much speed (well, a lot of speed but nothing compared to Lee). But Naruto can use his kyubi chakra and turn it into speed, and if he does, that speed will go beyond Lee... That is what i think.
Um... Gai is the fastest character in the show. He's Lee's master... trains just as hard as Lee except he's been doing it for longer.
Rock Lee is the fastest out of the chocies.

First off, nobody knows the full extent of Kyuubi's power. Saying that Naruto used less than a millionth of Kyuubi's power is pretty excessive, though.
If Naruto used Kyuubi's power "properly", Konoha would be in an uproar.
Yes, he did have trouble with Neji, even after using Kyuubi's power.
I think that fight was pretty sissy. Instead of thinking of a way to cleverly beat Neji, he taps into a 3rd party power to win. That's like asking for back up. Sissy thing to do, indeed.
haku moving through the mirrors was pretty fast too. if (s)he had been on the list, i would have voted for him.

Damn Oro is preety fast. I just watched the fight he hadd with Sasuke, and you cant make any comparisons to the others, it looks like he can move preety fast for a long time.
Besides like Lightning Edge said, how can you compare a genin speed to a legendary sannin speed? In this case i say MJ takes the price.
So far from what we've seen I'd say lee but not because he's my favorite character. I think he's the fastest because no one could keep up with his speed. When Sasuke was fighting Oro he could keep up with Oro's speed. When Naruto was fighting Neji, Neji could follow Naruto and dodge him. But when Lee fought Gaara, Gaara's sand couldn't keep up. I dunno if this is correct or not but that's what I think.

It would be interesting to see a fight between Oro and Lee, to see who is faster, but I still think Oro can kick Lees ass.

While he didn't use a bunch of the chakra, he used a bit. But he basically ran into a bullet. its not that he used it wrong its just that he ran into such a devasting move head on.
and anyway, rock lee is fastest by far.
Then again we don't know anything about Oro's true power since he only used a fraction of it against Sasuke. Also we don't know the depth of the Kyuubi's power.
i dont have the ep right now but didnt they say rock lee was the only ninja in the world who could do 5 gates?, an d they namerd some random guy who did like 3 and was the 2nd best?
so id say lee, oro is a genuis ninja it would seem and if you half to do a seal i wouldnt consider that speed
