    Isn't he thirteen now though? At the start of the series he's 12, yeah, but I'm pretty sure it's generally accepted that a year has gone by since then ...

    When the manga started, he was 12, it's been about a year time line wise, so it's just accepted that he is 13 now.

    yep....and naruto was born just around the time that the 4th died, therefore he is 13

    several months have gone by in the anime since the 1st episode

    Since there is no spoiler rules in this section I can tell you that Naruto will not be the 5th Hokage.

    Haven&#39;t you seen how the charaters changed true out the anime? compare naruto in episode 1 and in episode 62, you&#39;ll probably see some different in the way he looks... I bet he&#39;s 13 now ... he was 12 in the beginning

    Naruto wont be hokage for a very long time, if at all

    even if he is strong enough hes never going to be mature enough, and all the other candidates would have to die as Kakashi and even Gai would make better better Hokages just on knowledge - not to mention Jiyaira. And Tsunades not dying any time soon, shes got a youth jutsu.
