There is no naruto this week, on januray 7th they will air naruto 65. on januray 14th the one hour special will air, and the week after that... no naruto...that's the truth.
I want to know how people get this information? Do some of you live in Japan? Also how relieble is this info?

If you think about it, it's only logical that there won't be an episode until the 7th now.
Episode 64 was done in advance, and you got that episode early because the artists need Christmas break too you know? The week delay is because they are spending this time to create the next episode after having their Christmas break, episode 64 was suppose to be on during this time but you got it early as a Christmas bonus.
It's the same for the 1 hour specials. They create 2 episodesm and rather than releasing one week after another, it's both at the same time. Artists are sometimes required to do this by their sponsor if they are the most popular series going on that channel, and it turns out that an unexpected timeslot has opened up to the sponsors (When i say sponsors, i mean the ppl hosting the TV Channel).
So this 1hr special is a fill-in for that unexpected timeslot as the most popular series on the channel at the moment. (They use the most popular to try to attract or keep as many ppl to the channel as possible.).
What would you rather have then? 1 episode constantly a week, or 1hr specials every 2 weeks? =P
1hr specials have all that extra stuff, with the characters talking to each other about the line-ups etc. If it was one episode a week, you would miss that extra stuff. But then, if it was just one episode a week, you also wouldn't have to suffer the suspension of the wait between them.
Give the guys a break, let them enjoy their time. Besides, it appears that they're working tons of overtime for the sake of it's fans and the TV Channel hosts. o_O;

I just hope that they don't use all the episode to introduce them and watch everybodys reaction. I want them to just appear, then fight, then ....... so the big ..... can start.... in one episode or maybe 2...
