im disappointed that temari and kankuro never appeared in gaara's flashbacks in episode 58.....it wouldve been interesting to see how they dealt with being around gaara

That's not true.... although they are siblings... they aren't close... because of how Gaara isn't very emotional with them and the fact that they are SCARED TO DEATH OF HIM... They are more like team members to him. but they ARE siblings ^^;
I get the impression `siblings` is purely a technical term with these guys...they`re related by blood, but Gaara doesnt really aknowledge this, and I doubt he really cares about any of them. He was willing to kill them over nothing 0-o.

but they still act like his siblings (listen to your big sister), which shows they are aware of his existance and place in his life.
i get the impression that gaara, who doesnt understand love (sand sensei said he wouldnt understand gai saying "he is my beloved comrade"would respond to being treated like a brother by his siblings, and it might temper his philosophy, IF they were his siblings, but as it is they can only do half of that and are therefore ineffectual as foils for him.
eh, i can tell im talking out my ass, but it seems like it would all be somehow neater if gaara was an only child/orphan, and otherwise completely isolated, id hate to think someone could go that rotten with other humans in their life to respond to.

I dont get how they could be brother and sister....... u may think that in naruto that brothers and sisters look nothing alike...... but look at sasuke and his brother.......... and neji and hinata., and they arnt even brother and sister...... kankurou is the coolest.......ok back to the topic i think theres just to much stuff pointing to them being siblings for them not to be
I dont think Gaara gives a damn about his family. like Gaara said, they are to me just a piece of dead flesh or something like that.
