kishimoto was a genius to have an elaborate way of introducing the other konoha genins just so later on they can mingle the groups more

Even though shikamaru was only with naruto and sakura for one episode, i still thought that was really cool for him to be side-by-side with them for a change instead of it just being naruto, sakura, and sasuke
