Episode 64 Discussion

Well, I think it's been 24 hours since they released it. Overall, I thought it was a really good episode. Did anyone else notice the new music? I liked it. The only thing I didn't like is that Shikamaru quit. If he's so smart, why didn't he just beat Temari's head on her fan like he did to the Sound girl in his last match? It was right there. I can't wait for 65. I hope Gaara destroys Sasuke.

That wouldn't have worked. The only reason the sound nin got smacked in the prelim was that she didn't know that the wall was so close behind her.

The way the shadow imitation works (I believe) is that there's some amount of resistance which could occur during the jutsu. If the person knows that something is going to happen which would hurt him/her, then if they have enough will, they could break the jutsu. With temari, since the fan was straight in front of her, if she knew that she was going to get her head banged against it, then there would be a chance that the jutsu could have been broken.

And on the 14th there will be a special extra big episode 1 hour, i wonder what that contains? but one week after this big release there ain't gonna be naruto. they making to many interuptions

Shikamaru should wear a large metal plate around his left or right arm. That way when he uses shadowbind jutsu he can make his opponent kick that metal plate with his kneebone OR the long bone connecting knee to ankle, while Shikamaru kicks the other persons arm and makes direct contact .

New Naruto Special
That&#39;s right, a new Naruto special aired today at the jump festival in japan. That&#39;s a place where they show specials for series that are featured in the jump magazine and where they show off other Jump related stuff. They &quot;aired&quot; the special on a movie screen so I don&#39;t think there will be a raw available on the Internet for us to fansub. They did the same thing for the leaf clover special so we had to wait until they released it on DVD, and that&#39;s prolly what&#39;s gonna happen for this one too. Be patient, the DVD will be released in like... a few months so...

I also just heard from Crustol that on january 14th, there will be a Naruto 1 hour special... But the week after, there won&#39;t be an episode airing. Enjoy&#33;

I don&#39;t think they can resist it. My guess is when Shikamaru dodged the shuriken he broke the shadow link which would have givin her a chance to change her motion. That or perhaps he didn&#39;t want to kill her.... perhaps he thought she was boinkable...

So yeah Shik should have bowed down really fast and made her wap her head on the fan.

He would just own everyone out in Hikaru no go, and that wouldn&#39;t be much fun since i like Hikaru

But man, who would have thought tha shik was such a smart ass. I have always considered him as a funny guy, i like his style; but i never saw that coming.

Anyway, even if Shikamaru gave up, it is clear to me that he was the winner in every aspect, he was cooler and acted smarter And that counts in my book

mmm Shikamaru is just so soft Really nice episiode, nice to see Shikamaru and whynot Temari do something Too bad Kankuro gave up the Shino vs him, would have been a nice fight to see I guess.

Hmm why is it Shikamaru didnt just win? well Temari isnt some lowlife dumbass either and Shikamaru is a team fighter not a one on one fighter.. So he used to much time trying to bind Temari that his chakara wore out. If he would have had some left im pretty sure he would finnish it off. He said there in the end he had 200 more moves thought up allready but time/chakara wasnt on his side.

And next up is Saslooser and Gaara uuuu scary one.. sasuke is gonna get it bad.
