Thread: Mpeg4 splitter

  1. #1
    Hello everyone,

Anyone here has experienced splitting the avi files that are mpeg4 based (divX, Xvid, etc). I tried a few softwares. some can split but the file loses quality...either become noisy...audio and video out of sync...while others just totally fail.

Well if anyone has succeeded in this, can you share with me your experience and what software do you use?

    thanks in advance.

to what purpose are you splitting the files?
    I know a few programs
but you would need to put together the files again in order to run the file properly

Use "Easy Video Splitter". It will split video in just a few seconds with no quality loss. I use it all the time to trim ending credits off of video files and such, so that i can fit more onto cd's. It saves me "lots" of cd's and wasted space.

    Hello brightdark and Serpico,

Ya, that's my purpose to make it fit into cds. Meaning I just want to trim off the ending parts to make it fit into a cd. i'll try your method Serpico.

brightdark, when i burn it into a cd. I want to play it from the cd...i don't want to have to join them again just to view it.

    Thanks for the input.
