for shadow bt, how do i close down my firewall?

so slow..... only 1 or 2 kb/s....i am downloading naruto 57 and 58....sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow................................when i downloaded naruto 41-50, the speed went up to 70kb/s......but now it stays like that.....i phoned my frd to download episode 59 and 60, and his speed is like 60 or something............then i downloaded shadow bt and the status light indicates that i am behind a firewall...............so.....what should i do?

if you are behind a software ''firewall''
the easiest thing to do is unistall the thing
stupid win xp has one integrated make sure that stupid thing is off

or are you behind a router of somekind?
in that case you should contact the company that provides you your net connection
ask them about 'port forwarding' for your router
that is what solved my porblem
