Thread: AMV !!!

    ok i try to add some effects such as Fade in and Fade out..but they arent working... Any help please ?

    And in Adobe Premiere, which type should i use ? NTSC Widescreen or... ? Best for AMV that is

    plsplspls help !!

    Just used virtual dub to cut off the parts that i want to be an amv, movie length is approx 30 seconds but size is 1.2 giga lol !

    How can i reduce size ?

    and, anyone familiar with premiere that can tell me which one to use ?? widescreen ntsc / pal or that...and how to merge etc ? cant find tutorial

    you need to compress it somehow
    the crazy filesize is because you used the default uncompressed rgb
    you should be able to change in the 'video' options -> compression...
    or press Cltr+c

    Go to Video--->Compression and select a codec from the list to use to encode/re-encode your file into. The ones I have on my list are things like divx 5.03, DivX:-) MPEG4 Low Motion and loads of others.... try the last one I mentioned for starters. Quality and size are linked in a linear manner ofcourse, the higher the quality the higher the file size. If you reduce say sharpness and fps rate the quality will drop as will the file size.
