Hokage

I had a couple questions about Naruto if anyone can help me out...

1) What does 'Kage' mean? Sometimes they translate it as shadow, but then it is also used for the name of the most powerful ninja in a village (Hokage, Kazekage, etc). Does that mean that the word Hokage means Fire shadow or something?

2) What is it that Naruto says a lot at the end of his sentences that sounds like "de bayo" or something? Reminds me of that thing kenshin used to always say...

jo, the kage`s aren`t all gezzers the third is old because the fourth died duh!!! the fourth would prolly be in his 30s if he hadn`t died the third had to become hokage again if u wanna no more then read the manga!

Just a little speculation on the 4th&#39;s age. In spoiler color for safety.

<span style='color:#D6DBE0'>The 4th was Kakashi&#39;s sensei and from the picture he was an adult at the time. Now we know that Kakashi became a chuunin when he was 6 so the 4th would logically be atleast 10 to 15 years older than Kakashi. This means that when the 4th sealed Kyubi he was either pretty old or Kakashi now is still very young. Then you take into account that Jiraiya was the sensei of the chibi 4th and he is only fifty years old at present. It just doesn&#39;t seem to me that there has been enough time alloted to allow for the ages of the characters.</span>

heh, you&#39;re new i take it. the text is the same colour so you can choose whether or not to read it. if you want to select the area inbetween the stars (click and drag )

if you ever put somthing that might spoile, use that colour, its labeled spoiler in the colour menu.
