The only reason I liked gaara was because I love it when the cold-hearted bastard has these shocked looks on his face. Everybody looks to gaara for affirmation if something is crazy or not. The moment I thought Lee was friggin kicking ass and being cool is when gaara was about to have ura renge on his ass and he looked like he was about to piss himself. And when Naruto used kyubi in the neji battle. Gaara looked scared too.

In short: I only like Gaara as a measurement of how well other genins are doing. Personally, my idea of a cool ninja doesn't sit around and do nothing while his monster has to do all the work. That's just laziness.
