To Legendary Nin and Animemaster: lol

To Baka-chan: ur evil

To Everyone else: I'm the only one that voted the last option. Don't get me wrong; I think it's good that Saddam is caught, but thousands of people died because they wanted one man and they haven't found a single weapon of mass destruction yet so I'm not 100% for the war. By the way, you can't just attack a country because it has a bad gouvernment, because it's not their business and otherwise there would be war everywhere.

I didn't vote, I didn't notice the poll...I'll do it now (last one)...

I also thought it odd how Bush decided to attack Iraq...so he started there...where does he stop? My suspicion at the time was that a nice war might just be the thing to boost the US economy (even though it'd cost a lot to send weapons, personnel and vehicles etc over - it'd mean more weapons being produced etc and more people working etc...I'm not too familiar with the details anymore...)...

Also Bush made out like Iraq was somehow linked to the World Trade Centre tragedy which was totally out of order since it had no links that I could see to the Taliban or Bin Laden...and Saddam Hussein was a dictator, not a terrorist.

I've been against the war, and I think Tony Blair showed what a spineless closet-right-wing cunt he really is by sucking up to Bush and going against what many members of his own party believed just to get in America's good graces...

I'm not sure about how Iraq is now, last time I remember when the system was overthrown, the country was put into an even WORSE position as there was NO system and as a result it was just total anarchy...people were scared to go out on the street and stuff...for all I know it could have changed, I could watch the news, but media is always a biased opinion so there is rarely much point...

Something that kinda makes me feel ill is that because of this, George Bush, a man who signed a death warrant for a man with a mental age of 6, and who refused to sign the Kyoto treaty on the grounds that the oil companys that run his government didn't like the idea...it annoys me that in many years time he will probably be remembered in the same vein as JFK as a great hero who toppled Hussein...I seriously hope not...

I don't see what the point of having a huge man hunt for just one man who doesn't even have anything to do with the organized attacks. Should have jus left it up to the Iraqis to find him.

bush is gonna save those

gee
would it not be nice if them soldiers find bombs they plant themselves a few months before next election?

9. #9
I voted the last one. Although I think Saddam is an asshole and should die, I also think that Bush is the most retarded person ever.

10. #10
So he's caught. Big deal. Doesn't change that fact that America is in there looting Iraq's oil, having it's spoilt little brats known as soldiers shoot at anything that moves in all direction (hooray for the 'greatest' army in the world), have them abuse the people in Iraq, have them joyriding in aircrafts in Afghanistan killing kids. All in the name of some illusions known as democracy and freedom.

Just another good old fashioned hegemonic empire building excerise in that region after the British were doing thier crap in there.

@DB_Hunter yeah

but for some sad reason the majority here in the west does not care about that
all they care about and have tears for are those few thousands that died at world trade center

sometimes I can't believe how stupid we are
bush is using this goddamn stupid logic
''let's kill some millions of them before they kill a few thousands of us again''
for some reason this has worked
as if the life of an american weights more than 1000 kids from middle east
and those who don't think that revenge is a big partial reason for the middle east wars are in sad deep denial

western countries attack middle east
bush: its for their own good

thousands of people dying
bush: its for their own good

their country being bombed into %¤(%¤¤"%/
bush: its for their own good

little kids play with bombs and mines and whatever leftover
bush: its for their own good

bahhh I don't wanna continue the list
my point is
people actually buy crap like this
and I would not wonder if a new war start up within a year

Sorry I completely agree..WoMD was the reason we went into this war..I think rock lee was right when he said that they were sold..but that was what our government presented to us for a reason to go into Iraq..

Thank you brightdark

15. #15
Why would it be a hoax? they proved it through DNA. Hes caught, and thats good.

16. #16
i agree that things got out of hand and bush has no more reason to be in iraq (has never had a reason for the past few months). i can't wait till election but if bush is actually stupid enough to attack north korea.. i'm movin

17. #17
Well if u haven't heard already, they've finally captured saddaam hussien. Found him in Tikrit hiding in a house.

so lets hear what everyone thinks. is it real, is it about time, what will happen now?

personally, if its him, im happy he's been captured. but theres no way in hell he'll b tried justly. regardless of who's on the tribunal, there will b pressure from bush to do what the americans want.

also, i'd really like to know where these weapons of mass destruction are. they were the start of this whole thing, and with like 7 armies in that country they still havent found any thing. what happened to those litte blotches that we were told were chemical factories, and warehouses?

well whatever, thats my $0.02.

ps: lets try not to start a major political debate ....... plz respect other ppls opinions even if u dont agree with them.

18. #18
DNA has confirmed its him.

19. #19
They did do a DNA test which proved it was him i suppose. It sounds like there gonna turn him over to iraqi courts, which means bush doesn't have to convince those people to penalize him they'll do it on their own. Iraqi reports were spitting on him and saying things like "death to sadam" according to reports. Hopefully its him and not one of his body doubles and they can at least symbolically end alot of the insurection. As far as the WoMD goes its fair to say he sold those bitches so quick it was painful to observe. Every country around him would love to have that kinda shit, we've already found bioweapon factories empty but they are there. I personally don't care much for politics i find them a waste of time, however Iraq has always been a thorn in the US's side and thats what im figuring is the reason we went over there. Its easiest to stop threats from afar if you have "allies" in that region. It should be interesting to see how this shows in the history books a few decades down the road.

20. #20
when i was watching the people taking samples for a DNA test, i was thinking, how badly would those people wanna just punch him in the face? i say we get his hopes up with a "fair trial" and then screw him over. he doesn't need the death penalty right away, keep him in a prison and let him be tortured

anywho... i'm just glad we got him, and can't wait to see what happens.
