You mean like Kiba? Because farting certainly doesn't release red chakra.

By that note, what would happen to Neji if he didn't have Byakugan? His chances of winning with his current style wouldn't be too hot.

Furthermore, the closest Naruto has ever gotten to releasing ALL of the Kyuubi was in the fight against Haku.

Man, if you really want to start something with a character who doesn't rely on their own abilities, pick on Gaara or something.

No offense man, but are you retarded. Sharingan is extremely powerful. To be able to copy any technique just by seeing it once is incredible, not to mention the hypnotic effect it has. I guess you have to read the manga tho. Once Itachi enters the picture you will see how powerful Sharingan really is.

so what? the point of being a ninja isnt to be fair....its to be the strongest. If you had a demon inside you, would you just never use it? Besides, whats fair about a rookie genin who graduated with the lowest scores going up against a more experienced genin that is from one of konoha's greatest clans and graduated with the highest scores?

dude I hardly think the fox is 'siding' with naruto. It's not like he's there by his own will.
Naruto earned the red chakra, and he earned the ability to use it. Neji was so wrapped up in fate, he just assumed Naruto was a powerless dropout.

2. Kakashi - Wanted to see how Naruto, for obvious reasons...

as for the Frog, I dunno what help it woulda been, couldn't have POSSIBLY fitted (<-- that a word?) in the stadium

The bird flying away is a symbol of changing one's fate. It was discussed in the last episode-the symbol on Neji's head is the 'bird in the cage' which means a unchangeable fate..

it seemed odd, and people have commented that, but i think what happend was a big explosion and smoke, then naruto and neji flying out of the smoke, and then you see them both flying back into the smoke....

this would not only explain the shadows, but why they formed craters the way they landed

Yeah that whirl must have cause some crazy "rebound" that made Naruto and Neji fly back into the smoke the way they did.

Yay, first post.

Ahhh... such a wonderful episode... turned the already great fight from the manga into one of my all time favorites.

What I liked:

Neji losing. Even though I began to like him a bit during this fight because he had a very interesting backstory, I've never really liked Neji for his Fate crap and general air. Not to mention, he went way to far in the Hinata fight, and Hinata's my second favorite character, right after Kakashi, so he'll always be a heartless bastard to me.

The SFX for the Chakra. Seemingly taking a page from DBZ, but actually making the aura look like an aura rather than the person being on fire. BEAUTIFUL. And then the effects for the Kaiten colliding with Naruto's charge... PERFECT.

Gaara having a facial expression other than psycho glee or pissed off. Is that fear or amazement? I don't know, but I think Naruto may have actually impressed Gaara.

Extra Instruments in the opening. The season 3 opening had been growing on me, but I still didn't like it as HAruka Kanata... until I heard the new instruments. There's more to a song than the lyrics, people, and those extra instruments enhanced the season 3 opening to the point of absolute adoration for me.

Now, for some random commentary on things that have been said.

First, the bird. Pretty much any time you see an animal in anime that doesn't directly interact with the characters, it's more often than not a symbol. In other words, I support the symbol of a caged bird idea. Naruto freed Neji's mind from the concept of fate at the end of the fight, and therefore the bird was released from the cage, hence why it flew away.

Next, for next episode. I wonder if I'm the only one who watches the episode previews. I think that it's pretty obvious what's next: Sasuke is too late. The name of the Next episode is: "Disqualified? Danger! Moving Ahead of Schedule! The Main Tournament with Troubles!" According to the AonE-ANBU dub. And then there's the scene after the episode title, with Naruto cheerfully pushing Shikamaru into the ring. Dare to guess what the next fight will be?

Finally, as for NAruto's use of the Kyuubi no Chakra... Naruto has the ability to use it, and at that moment he had the need to use it. I see no problem with him using one of his most powerful abilities to win. You forget this is a fighting tournament where they are encouraged to use everything at their disposal.

Anyway, I'm done ranting. All flames will be ignored.

Well i'll get down to it.

Naruto, a person who has been disliked all his living years, living alone having no parents. All because he has Kyubi. Do you not think he would give up his powers to have his misserable life turned into something better? Some of you call him a cheat 'cause he always uses kyubi powers and so on. If no one had power like Sharingan, Byukugan, Rock Lee who really is a genious, Gaara's sand and so on; i personally think Naruto would be the strongest of them all.

Why? Because Naruto has trained harder then anyone else except Rock Lee who turned out to be a genious. Naruto is the only one who isn't a genious acording to bloodline and things like that (as far as i know). If it doesn't sometime later on turns out that the fourth Hokage is Naruto's father or anything like that.

as i see it, Naruto isn't more of a cheat than anyone else called a genious. All they hae to give them powers is the thing they were born with, just like Naruto. And i know some of you has pointed this out. But i still see a lot of faces towards Naruto, but no one has their face turned against Gaara, the person who a lot of you think rocks the world. I haven't seen Gaara making one single good move on his own with his body. I've only seen his body being tossed around by Rock Lee with no means of escape. If he was such a good Ninja, then how come he couldn't do a thing against Rock Lee except use his sand?

I saw Sasuke who is such a cool chap getting his ass whopped by Naruto in the ealier eps, then Naruto only used Kage Bunshin no Jutsu which he learned all on his own, with his own chakra. That was before he learned how to use Sharingan which he now more or less depends on to win a fight.

Neji is strong, that i'll give him. But almost every Ninjustu he knows is based on Byukugan as well as him being able to avoid attacks because he can see things others can't see. The question is if he even is strong at all or if he just depends on the tenkestu presure points to take enemies out of commotion.

They were all born with a gift, a gift they got through family or evil. Naruto isn't more of a cheat than anyone else, he have a stronger gift than everybody else, that's all. If Naruto is a cheat, then so is everyone else.

At least that is how i see it.
