i watched the ep. 62, the effort to lend the sensations is really noticeable.
so far no other traslation , and care of particulars of quality gave me the same in the other subs..really thanks anbu..

Just one thing that kinda puzzles me though..... Why on earth is ep 62 so freaking huge?

I mean, consider this: The last, what, *opens up folder* eight episodes that I have right here, that is, 54-61, are all more or less around the same size, about 178.5 megs. 62, on the other hand, is this 219.5 meg monster. @@ This, being downloaded as significantly slower than my usual download speed, (17 k average, as opposed to 100k @@) took me damn near freaking forever.

Now, my questions are:

1) New raw source? I&#39;m thinking yes, since the quality seems to take a jump. Either that, or the Excel Saga subs I have are really starting to wear at me.

2) Less compression/higher bitrate?

3) Better capture method? This one I&#39;m particularly interested in, since it seems like someone DVD-R-ed the thing, and then mailed it same day service to the fansubbers.

No its definately different. The new one relies more heavily on the orchestra (violins and such) rather than the guitar in previous episodes. Listen once again

The into has definatly changed. It&#39;s probably most noticable at 0:43-0:45, there&#39;s been a couple of new orcestral elements added that arn&#39;t present at all in the pre-62 intro.

The intro song did change. It&#39;s now like an orchestrated remix of it with the same lyrics. You can hear the difference when the NARUTO(0:16-0:18) title appears. ANBU didn&#39;t do any changes to it...even the RAW from Saiyaman had intro remix.

I didn&#39;t know Naruto could be this good... The episodes with Gaara VS Lee is nothing compared to ep 62&#33; I think the intro was either remixed or had it&#39;s quality raised.

either there was work done by aone/anbu on the sound to bring out the more dormant strings in the intro, or the new ep. had a new version of it, the strings and the ending of it really make it seem like a different version, but then again this ep is bigger and clearer, so maybe by compressing it less they saved some sound quality cuz the whole ep in particular sounded way more clear and a whole lot better overall, i would love it if the episodes were all like this from now on

listen to the intro about 14 seconds in. then do it with 61, you&#39;ll see the difference

My only gripe with this episode isn&#39;t the episode itself, it&#39;s the size of ANBU and AonE&#39;s file. Normally, each file is roughly 174 MB, so that 4 can fit on a CD. This one was about 215 MB, so it barely did NOT fit on the cd. Nothing worth complaining about, though, really, because the increased file size is probably because of the animation quality and the improved sound in this episode.
