    When Hyuga Hiashi was training with Hinata and Hyuga Hizashi and Neji were watching, why did Hyuga Hizashi use the Byakugan whilst watching Hinata and Hyuga Hiashi train? Was he trying to unlock the secrect techniuqes that only the main family learn?

    no, i think he was about to attack hanabi or something, since he looked pissed. that is what i have always thought so far.

    If you remember from Neji and Hinata's fight, Neji can see what people are feeling using the Byukagan, and therefore divine/predict what someone will do. So the one training Hinata (I get their names mixed up so I won't try :P) sensed the intention to kill in Neji's dad. He also said, when he turned toward his brother "<startle> An intent to kill!".
