    Who the heck is that cat character? I've seen him on a wallscroll I own, and he's on the OST I just got, but I never saw him in any of the episodes (and i've seen them all). Is he a character from a movie that hasn't been subbed yet, or what?

    His name is Matamune. He doesn't appear in the anime, but he is in the manga. In fact he has a very important role, since he had a lot to do with Hao in previous life and is pretty important to Yoh as well. I shouldn't say much in case you will read the manga. I think he appears in Volume 17, or maybe 18.

    Huh, didn't know there was any huge differences in the manga. Guess i'll have to start looking closer. Thanks.

    Doesn't answer why he's on the OST for the anime though...heh
