At first, this suffered from feelings of "just read the manga", but the adaptation slowly grew on me. Good voice work and a cute core cast of well characterized girls give Uryuu enough to work with that he can actually muster chemistry with them all. Everyone has good and bad points which makes them more interesting. Animation is a bit sparse, but the character designs are more or less uncompromised, which keeps the curb appeal high. These first five episodes end a good mini arc that should give a reasonable picture of all the good, bad, and tropey elements of Amangami-san and should be enough to determine if it's for you. Recommended for harem enthusiasts.
