Premise
Goro is a normal high school student whose life is turned upside down one day after noticing a new app on his phone. The app requires chosen "God candidates" to confront each other in a violent battle royale in which the last remaining survivor will become God.

I binged season 1 and what there is of season 2 in the past few days. The art is CG, but not too bad. The story has many unexpected beats for the genre, and the characters are pretty good and don't behave too predictably. The ending of Season 1 was definitely unexpected, so I am posting this thread to get more attention for this Yoko Taro anime.
