Synopsis
After being aggressively rejected, Momo Ayase finds herself sulking when she stumbles across a boy being bullied. Saved by her rash kindness, the alien-obsessed boy attempts to speak to her about extraterrestrial interests he believes they share. Rejecting his claims, Ayase proclaimed that she instead is a believer in ghosts, starting an argument between the two over which is real.

In a bet to determine who is correct, the two decide to separately visit locations associated with both the extraterrestrial and the supernatural—Ayase visiting the former and the boy visiting the latter. When the two reach their respective places, it turns out that neither was wrong and that both aliens and ghosts do exist.

This marks the beginning of Ayase and the boy's adventure, as they attempt to fix the surreal, supernatural, and extraterrestrial elements around them to return to a normal life.

So, a mix of sci-fi and supernatural. feels a bit like FLCL from time to time.
I'm pumped. loved the OP, and I think the basic animation (at some scenes) gives it character.

The Trigger comparison is very apt. I would say that the slight difference is how DanDaDan can step off its fetish play long enough to create some emotional pathos... -30% horny, +10% thoughtful, you could say.

Definitely one to watch.

I was hoping that Ayase would release Turbo Grannie completely since that sumo presumably has a weener, but what ended up happening was more interesting anyway.

I'm assuming her psychokinesis will cover all the otherwise lethal activity they encounter. The alien made a magical girl series type barrier and the house and yard weren't actually damaged.

I like the small character moments, but I wonder how long, or what lengths author-kun has to go to, to keep this fresh without becoming a bog-standard battle series?

4th episode, quick thinking from both of them.

I love how Turbo Granny for me is a gag character from one of those endless-runner games from fifteen years ago, but it appears in both Mob-100 and this so I guess it's a legit thing...

As of the end of this first major arc, I still can't get a read on the show, and I don't think it'll be as good on repeat watches, but I think it's overall... good (the animation goes a long way for me). I hope the spirits going forward lean into the absurdity even more, so long as the awkward exposition dumps are toned down a little. Since I don't expect the mechanics of the exorcisms to make sense, you don't have to try so hard to explain them to me mid-chase scene.

The preview suggests he ?doesn't have his balls, so I think he possesses some of the abilities to transform still. It'd be a hassle to come up with a new design every arc for a new power so it makes sense that he kept some.

That said, I'm totally expecting Ayase to wear something different every now and again, and it'll be fire.
