I was drawing the Caesar banner to get more Piper copies because she is my favorite, then out comes Caesar.

I kept drawing and got 2 copies of Piper, so she is now at Cinema 4, which was critical for my physical anomaly team. I might try a full physical team with Nekomiya, Piper, and Caesar. No real stunners, but they are for Shiyu Defense where I get killed because I suck at blocking.

I just completed all the Shiyu stages using my Caesar, Burnice, Piper, Gunboo, and Koleda, Lucy, S11, Rocketboo teams. None of them are fully maxed except Piper, but I finished all the stages at S or A rating. The last stage is hard to S because the enemies hit to hard and I don't really practice dodging their movesets, but definitely doable if I decide to spend an hour on em.

My most powerful character is Piper at C6. With Burnice's skill, Disorder triggers all the time.

However, the S11 team is a lot more fun to play because you need to use all the dodge and parry mechanics to succeed. Caesar trivializes defense.

Nekomiya just totally fell off. I'm thinking of pulling for the next electro anomaly character, but I already have grace, so I dunno.

    I use:

    Qing,Nicole,Zhu
    Caesar,Lucy,S11

I love S11... sadly her damage is so much lower than the other's team output. And I'm probably doing something wrong with Caesar, I thought I'd increase Zhu's damage if I switch her in for Nicole... but I'm hitting for like half the damage for whatever reason. I guess the def- from Nicole is just that strong.
Shield makes playing a lot easier though - welp, at least S11 has good support that way.

I think my biggest mistake was going for Ellen + her Wengine so far.
Not sure if I'll want to switch her back in when Miyabi releases, but so far I'm not seeing it. Sharkgirl was pretty "cool" when I first saw her, but it's just not as stylish as the other DPS.
At least the W-Engine is probably decent in the future as well due to how much crit/+dmg it gives.

Either way, I'm such a fan of S11 that I'm saving up for her squad.
+ Whatever S-Rank Support comes up in the future, because that's probably going to be a completely overpowered one.

The game remains my clear Mihoyo favorite.
Animation is superb (especially character/combat animation), music is awesome (new boss fight for example), the game modes are short and simple, daily quests take like 1 minute, weeklies like 10min, rewards keep flowing, events keep coming, which are short but fun too - hell, even the arcade games are quite fun.
I played that "vampire survivor" one quite a bit, although I quite dislike the Arcade-PvP ones... just let me do it solo.
And I like the story telling... the comics are still fun and the cutscenes even more.
Only downsides are dialogues, which are a bit boring to watch, but when they are voiced, they are at least "okay".

    edit:
looking back at the first post... that Zhu Yuan trailer man.... I totally love that woman. Would love to see an anime about her.

S11 is awesome. She does a fuckton of damage with Burnice because the enemy is ALWAYS burning, so the Inferno Metal 28% crit rate bonus is always active. S11 without Burnice was so much weaker in comparison.

Otherwise, I use mono-fire so burn triggers much easier, so I have Koleda, Lucy, and S11 together. Lucy just launches her skill when ready for the buff, and Koleda does most of the hitting until burn or stun triggers, then I swap in S11 until her firesword goes out.

Yeah, what I really like about her is her Ex Special animation and the last part of her basic-chain-combo
Just looks awesome. Loved her story missions too (I hope the "Sniper buddy" she had in her squad is going to be a cool character)
I get Disorders/Anomaly procs with S11/Lucy/Caesar too, even though obviously fer than you if you play with Burnice.
But Lucy can, funilly enough, be used for both physical and fire anomaly due to her mob-piggies dealing physical and respectable anomaly.

Be that as it may, as long as I clear the Shiyu Defense stuff like I am now, I'm fine either way.
With my teams set like they are, I'm going for style.
the upcoming 1.3 characters only mildly interest me, so I'm skipping.

Guess I'll just post it for the sake of it, even though people playing probably already saw it.

Miyabi at the end is so freaking smol, I hope she is going to be a fun character.
So funny to me that she decided to look into the box, expecting to MAYBE find her in there, lol.

Yanagi is like my least favorite design, but I don't know if I have it in me to keep playing for 1 more month, so I might just draw her just cause. Then I will quit and move on to the next gacha game.

For me this game is quite easy to "endure" due to how good looking it is.
I have lots of unfinished sidequests - it doesn't matter, I do them whenever. I dump all my stamina in a few minutes and then alt+f4 and wait for a weekend/patch to play the next part of the main story, which are always quite fun.

Yanagi doesn't do much for me. The cinematic is well done again, the character itself seems fun too, but if I consider all the potential characters that may or may not be released, Yanagi isn't even on the radar, and pulls are too important to "waste" them on her.
Game has way better potential themes than "secretary" and due to the limited amount of synergies between your favorite character + whomever, there isn't an incentive for me to pull for most characters because they would do nothing for my favorites.

This is completely different to how I played Star Rail/Genshin. And I'm glad that this is the case.
Star Rail was the absolute horror for me because the characters were so important for team building and I had serious FOMO issues.
I basically wanted every second character in the first few patches - because the game was significant more difficult than this one too.

Right now I have 150 pulls saved up and I don't see myself pulling for any character before 1.4 or 1.5.
Which means I'll have about 300 pulls saved up before I'm interested in banners again. Yay.
Unless they do a Rerun of Zhu Yuan... that would probably starve me.

As for other Gacha Games, in my opinion there aren't any good ones coming up anytime soon. The only one I'd consider is the Arknights one, but it honestly doesn't look like the combat is even remotely as fun as this one, which is a real bummer because now the active combat ones will have to measure up to this.
Wouldn't mind a good old typical turn-based one like Star Rail or Epic Seven though...
Epic Seven... man, I wish that game were easier. Super hard to grind, but loved the gameplay/team building... But it was..well.. too hard.

Quite a few new things came with the latest patch. I'm not through with it but the event(? or is it permament)-tv-mode thingy is kinda nice and the tower alongside more story etc.
Although it's quite a shame that it isn't voiced. TV mode is perfect for voiced info-drops imho (the clues and special things you find there for example). When it happens in combat, I hardly find myself being able to listen to what is actually being said, especially since I have to read subtitles since I'm playing with jap-dubs.

I dropped ZZZ for Star Seed because I didn't get Yanagi with my pulls, instead grabbing that maid bitch again.

The game feels like a chore to me lately.

I don't know how much longer I'm going to play.

    Eww, that sucks.
I just play what I want to play and it seems fine for me so far.
Sometimes I run the extra mile to complete something, like the TV mode event which had a few moments but was way too long, especially since it wasn't even voiced.

I think it's pretty friendly in that regard, compared to all the other gacha games I've played so far - which are built around you logging in every day etc.
Including the western ones, such as Warcraft's Rumble.

Seems like 1.4s weekly stuff will change to a new gamemode as well, already liked that I can now complete the whole thing in one mission, but a different rogue-like mode is even better to mix things up.
On top of that the whole game seems to get a complete new balance.

The fact that every character will then be able to use ultimates means enemy HP/Daze meters etc. will change and that we can actually now use stun/support ultimates without making us play worse.

It's not ZZZ that's at fault. It's one of the best gachas I have ever played. I just get tired of something fairly quickly even if it is low effort and move on.
