"Normally, people choose to become adventurers in their teens. At 32 years old, Rick Gladiator bucks the trend by leaving his job as a guild clerk to become an adventurer. He begins as a novice F-rank with the fighting strength of an S-rank. What does anime have against us geriatric 30+ year olds? The derision on display for anyone past the age of... 18 is laughable as it was in the recent other example of Kaiju No. 8. Here, however, there is no baseline of respect for our secret OP protagonist and some pretty entertaining foils (an entire family here) to bounce the power reveal off of. It also appears that one's character is directly proportional to their bust size, but that may be giving the storytelling too much credit.

Entertaining enough to watch because most of the screen time up to now is for other characters instead of Mr McNiceGuy. The other party members are the usual tropes, but have some faint life in their design. Not recommended, but watchable.
