"* Based on a yankee manga by Nii Satoru.

Sakura Haruka wants nothing to do with weaklings—he's only interested in the strongest of the strong. He's from Fuurin High School, a school of near-dropout degenerates known only for their brawling strength. And in a town known for its territorial disputes, Haruka's got only one goal—become the hero his town deserves.

This is what I had hoped Bucchigiri last season would be. Apparently "yankee" is a genre, and I get it. Nice to see the 'rough, but a heart of gold' archetype applied to an entire school of delinquents. While chip on his shoulder Sakura didn't quite expect the reality of the relationship the school for tough guys had with its neighborhood, the show didn't just drop or backburner his dream of fighting his way to the top. Speaking of, the fight choreography is alright and the animation isn't straining too hard to follow it, so I expect a fun ride from here. May wind up being the action series of the season if Kimetsu no Yaiba drops the ball again.
