"Allen is banished from the Duchy of Westfeldt on account of his low level and lack of a god-given Gift, and all seems lost. But with his memories of a past life as a hero intact, Allen sees this twist of fate as a blessing—he can finally live his life as he pleases! Utter hog wash. You know how a show can seem to be written episode to episode, as if the writing team has no idea where they want to take the story? Here, it feels like the story is only planned out only to the end of each scene. An absurd level of escapism here with the protagonist being not only isekaied, but isekaied from one fantasy world to another (and even that isn't unique this season). He was a hero who saved the world and was hated by the survivors because good writing is hard, and so reincarnated and determined to live low key this time. Born to an all but mustached villain who's plans are being thwarted by his gary stu son and the cute girls squad. Barebones animation, nonsensical plotting... you can do better.
