Security was pretty light for a hunting trip in the woods involving a royal. I wonder if this will hurt the old man's standing at when they return? Will he be held responsible?

Also interesting that a couple side characters have been expressly shown on this trip: Cat (servant) girl and dog (officer) boy- how can they play a part in this?

Maomao was just feeling Jinshi up by that last squeeze.

Her willful ignorance is impressive. I didn't actually expect her to forcefully dodge his confession like that.

First time I felt jinshi acting "young". the show says that he does act his real age occasionally, but this time it really seemed that way.

He's supposed to act this way whenever he doesn't take his androgen-suppressing drugs. I guess he's hot-headed more than usual in this episode.

That's the most awkward this series has ever gotten without breaking into a chibi cutaway, but I can let it slide once in a while.

I hope this setup leads back to more mastermind plots. It would be a waste not to.
