Before this invariably converges with the path all anime rom-coms must follow, the hook of the premise is that the Gal, who is rumored to be quite sexually active with her litany of boyfriends is... actually quite that. Before our main beta male confesses to her as a (friends) punishment and scores a lovely girlfriend, he hears rumors that she puts out easily, and once they are dating, those rumors are validated almost immediately. I dunno; it is such a rarity in (non seinen/josei) anime for the heroine to not be a virgin maiden that it was interesting. What followed was this eerie uncanny valley of a girlfriend who was so... subservient and naïve about relationships that it's a wonder she hasn't been hurt or traumatized by her past boyfriends who 'got bored' of her... She has no personality to speak of yet other than 'ideal girlfriend'.

This will probably loose its traction fast now that the goal has been established as a slow burning, 'learn about each other' relationship with no carnality, as usual, but until then, I'm on board.
