It hit me this episode when the blonde trainer said "dont worry, our kids are better equipped": WHY are we even expected to root for Esperion, the high-class, rich-kids football club?! LOL
Usually, sports anime happen from the pov of an underdog team/player. In this anime, however, the heroes are fighting the underdogs, and that's supposed to be honorable? lololol
I mean, the team they're playing now is MORE the team that should be the heroes of an anime: A charismatic, calm leader, a team of not special, but hard-working team mates, and that one striker that's too emotionally invested and eventually finds a way to use his strength - Musashi is the hero team here
I hope there's no other season, just want to complete this and be done with it :>
