    im just wondering why is the show called "Rurouni" Kenshin

    PS:I have only seen up to ep 42

    Rurouni means a wandering swordsman. So therefore, Kenshin is Rurouni.

    It's a sort of play on words, or just a made up word, by the author, Nobuhiro Watsuki.

    It's combo of "Ronin" (masterless samurai) and "ru" (wandering).

    i believe this is correct. rurouni isnt a real word, but something put together by the author
