    Episode 15:

Man, I really hate Tonari. If we'Re supposed to like her, I hope her flashback next episode will do some heavy lifting, ugh.

Nice to see that the woman from earlier in the series returns, didn't make that connection last episode. Bad, however: Parona is dead. WTF. I didn't realize that last week. After all, Fushi can only mimic bodies of dead beings. :/ I assume the evil woman killed her. Hoping for some serious outrage from Fushi.

    episode 16:

I really hope they explain why she's got these superhuman abilities, because if that's just "how a skilled fighter works" in that world, it's bs.

    Episode 17:

Yeah, I still hate her. It just doesn't make sense that she's this strong.

I guess she ... wants Fushi's baby?! If Fushi's imitation ability is as perfect as thought, not sure her baby would have any special abilities, it'd be just the baby of the first guy that Fushi met.

Unfortunately, those prison island episodes have been kinda dragging, especially compared to the fantastic pacing before that. I hope the last couple episodes can return to that, otherwise my initial 9/10 will probably go down to 8/10.

    Finally caught up.

Agreed with all points, especially the crazy bitch and how the prison island arc is dragging.

I guess Tonari is the next form he will take.

    episode 19:

Finally this arc is over. Am I the only one who didn't feel anything when the kids got killed? I just never liked them. Unlike all the people Fushi met before, they were just ... eh.

Unfortunately, I have to say that this anime is now an 8/10 at best, and only if the remaining episodes return to the greatness before the island arc.

Fushi not killing people is the worst contrivance in this story. Basically anything that drives the plot forward is always about Fushi's cowardice.

    Episode 20:

And there the anime made me cry again right at the end
This felt really close to home. It's what keeps me up often at night. The thought of loved ones that are older than me, dying some day
I still don't know how I'll be able to cope with that should it ever happen, as of now I think I'll just completely shut down and stop living.

Fantastic final episode and it's a return to pre-island goodness.

On an even better news: Season 2 was announced today!

Hopefully, all of you will catch up with season 1 until then. really a special anime

    Season 2 - Episode 1:

Alright episode. Not too emotional, but I'm just generally invested in the unknown nature of Fushi' adventure.

Also: Wow, a 50something years old woman who isn't looking like a frog in my anime?! nice

    Season 2 - Episode 2:

WTF, I really am not okay with the poison girl dying only because the shitty little girl refused to have the OBVIOUS parasite removed off her left arm :/

Anyway, Fumetsu is cancelled hereby, lol. "Omg, an underage girl wants Fushi's baby!!1" What I didn't quite understand: All those successors are NOT Fushi's children, right? So I guess it will take some time before Fushi fulfills the promise he gave Hisame.

It's crazy how much time goes by though. This world doesn't see much technological progress, huh.

    Season 2 - Episode 3:

    What a ... fun episode?!

The prince is just my type of character, instantly reminds of ReZero's Betegeuse, although a nice version of him.

The guard falling in love with Fushi's girl transformation was fantastic, lol. I just fear that this would end in tragedy. Either Fushi would lose a baby the moment he transforms, or he wouldn't be able to transform for 9 months, also being open for enemy attacks and losing the baby. So I kinda hope they don't go that direction. THe horny part in me ofc thought about whether Fushi is actually male, but ... he isn't. He cam as a neutral ball, first transformed into a wolf, then a boy, then a girl, then another girl. So having sex with female Fushi wouldn't really be "gay" ;>

Also something hilarious in this episode: How the prince (and maybe everyone from his kingdom) seems to a total Fushi-fanatic. Fushi transforms into mole -> instantly caught. Fushi transforms into owl -> instantly caught. LOL. This was great.

Not sure where this going now, but after a somewhat lame start with episode 1, episode 3 is now making the first strides towards a great 2nd season.

    Season 2 - Episode 4:

Ok, I love the implications. So other people can see the ghosts of the dead, too? Meaning that they're actual ghosts and not just memories of Fushi's! Also implying that an afterlife exists.

I wonder why Bon has this special ability and who that woman was that visited him 15 years ago.

Also we find out about Fushi's big goal: Gathering "everything" to achieve freedom. Whatever that means.

    Season 2 - Episode 5:

This is getting SO interesting, wow.

I love how Bon is actually "conversing" with the shadow guy, makes everything feel more real and less construed.

Also lol, "I guess there are people like that in the world, I just don't want you to be one of them" ROFL

And then the big plot twist: Fushi can revive dead people! Wow. Chilling moment.

    Dat cliffhanger, though.

And that's why being immortal, but not being almighty, sucks. Wow. That pain should actually drive Fushi insane, even if he ultimately survives. If this were real life, his mind would need to have regenerative powers, too.

omfg, what is it with these insane cliffhangers this season?!

Great episode and Bonji-sama is a great clown all to his end.

Bummer we didn't see Todo again. While not enough time should have gone by, she probably lost tons of weight and looks way better now.

Fushi having learnt to manipulate iron is cool. Hopefully it leads to him learning how to manipulate the human body itself to heal people.

    Season 2 - Episode 8:

Ok, things are getting interesting now. Kinda frustrated that Bonji still didn't tell Fuji about his reviving skills, though.

The Nokkers' plan is actually super exciting. It's a dilemma that pertains to reality, too: IF there is an afterlife, then why continue living instead of going to the better place? Ofc, Christianity forbids suicide, but other than that? It's a question I, amid my severe depression, have asked myself many times. My answer was: If there is an afterlife, then life is just about having as much fun as possible until I go back to not-living, just as it was before my birth.

If the afterlife in the world of this anime is a happy place, then the Nokkers might actually be doing good. Heck, it could be argued that life itself is a state brought about by a villain (the black one?) and that flesh bodies are truly prisons and nothing else.

Somewhat unfocused episode. Not sure how making bigger things will make a change for fights against Nokkers as we've seen in this episode. Fushi's inherent fighting skills need to grow imo.

Also, Bon has become one of my favorite characters ever. I like how he's still on top of things but without his annoying attitude from before.

    Season 2 - Episode 10:

And things are getting super interesting now. On one hand we have Fushi who reached another higher understanding of his powers. On the other hand we have Bon travelling the world to protect people from Nokkers.

Ofc, the scenes with the girl and her dying brother made me cry again >_> Fushi REALLY must learn how to revive people quickly! Hope he won't hate Bon when he reveals it at long last.

Wondering whether Twitter is outraged over the girl though, lol. I was super surprised when Fushi washed her and she went from a black girl the whitest girl with blonde hair even, LOL.

Fushi really is on his way to become a god. Being able to create entire buildings now in a moment, wow.

I love how they're finally making use of Fushi's "remembering"-ability by getting him in contact with 3 capable fighters. If only Bon just told him that he can resurrect people he got in contact with.

They're building up to some big, epic moment, but I can't help but feel that they're not filling these episodes with meaningful content. The last three episodes have been very "wayne", only the end of this episode showed some meaningful development.

Also, it's ridiculous how it took forever for people to become suspicious of an old man who built several houses a day, LOL.

I'm still enjoying this anime, but season 1 is far superior so far and there's not that many episodes left to turn this season around.
